I shouldn't have limited my comment to premium seats, it really was all seats. I can't remember what junior tickets cost before the FZ, but it would have been very significantly lower than the adult price even in a standard zone. The FZ was intended to give kids a reasonably priced opportunity to watch the Sky Blues with an adult. Problem is that the adult price should never have been discounted, opening the area up for abuse.

TBH I am astonished that Doug hasn't realised this and increased the adult FZ price to address the issue. Could any adult reasonable grounds to moan if they were paying for a full priced seat for themselves and only £50 for an under 14?

I am a current FZ ticket holder, would have happily paid £400 for mine and then say £25 for my little boy, especially if it meant that I could actually sit in my seat when my boy can't go to midweek games. It would at least move those away who are taking advantage of the cheap adult prices

Monday 3rd June, 9:59am: 23/24 Seat Holds end

Monday 3rd June – Friday 7th June, 9:59am: Opportunity to move your already purchased 24/25 Season Ticket to a different seat if you wish to

Friday 7th June, 10am: Seat Release Day

Does anyone know what the difference between "Seat Holds end" and "Seat Release Day" is?

I read it as unsold season tickets are available when seat holds end but only to existing season ticket holders who want to move then everything left over on sale on seat release day

"Seat hold ends" means that your current ST seat is made available to other ST holders to move into until 7th June. "Seat release day" will see any ST seats not renewed released to general sale

Thanks both, that was what I was hoping as a couple near me haven't come to a game since November so was thinking those seats might become available to move to!

Doug has made it clear that an adult can’t turn up without a child and get entry to Family Zone and they will crack down on it.

That seems entirely reasonable.

Not sure it is for week night games. It is for Saturday games.

Doug said that those in that position would have to make alternative arrangements. The devil is in the detail, and that detail hasn’t been revealed yet, but perhaps there will be a way of making those arrangements via the ticket exchange. If not, sounds like he would be expected to buy a ticket elsewhere. That probably isn’t as unreasonable as it sounds given how heavily discounted the adult FZ tickets are,

As long as it's just the difference between a FZ ST game price and full ST game price. Shouldn't have to pay twice.

I was going to do finance but bollocks to that. 35% interest, £95 "arrangement" fee.

Sorry another personalised question.

If me and one of my 2 boys go to a game, with the other for whatever reason being unable, is that OK. Or is it 3 or nothing? (I'm aware it can't be just 1 out of 3)

You can go but at half time you have to stand on the centre spot and the substitutes kick footballs at you

Got it wrong, 38% APR. I rang them and cancelled the application. Stuck it on a low APR CC. I can pay it off easier too.

This was a season ticket for me and my lad who has turned 18.

First payment next month of £188!

YEah, stuck it on a low card I had from MBNA that I never use. Until today. Much easier. Can pay off extra as and when, so will clear it quicker. Fuck, never realised how shite the V12 finance options were.

Interesting to see amongst those Preston prices someone posted up there was no distinction in price between adult and senior .

I dont think you pay interest do you?

It's usually just the arrangement fee of about 35-45 a ticket.

its 45 quid a ticket, don't think its that bad. short term credit is always a higher interest rate isn't it?

I don't suppose so. APR is 38.7% and they whack on the arrangement fee of £91 on top of the ticketmaster fee of £16, that's over £13 a month on top.

I think it's paying the £91 arrangement fee all at once, which makes the first payment £180. Not very affordable, not for me anyhow. Some will have no choice though. People who cannot afford to pay outright always get penalised.

Seems to be a fairly slow uptake of blocks 10,11 & 12.

I have no idea why you would think that. He made no distinction. My assumption is that it is for all games.

I don’t know why you would think that either. I haven’t seen anywhere it made clear whether tickets offered up for “exchange” accrue any financial credit. As I‘ve said elsewhere, the hundreds of pounds discount applied to adult FZ tickets would pay for quite a number of full price match tickets.

If FZ STs are revoked, there doesn’t appear to be any refund offered either.

I think some of these things need clarification, but if I was in that position I would offer one of the boys’ tickets to the ticket exchange. Next time it happens I would offer the other boy’s ticket.you should be able to use your ticket as long as you a accompanied by one of your boys.

Interesting that they're selling season tickets in block 27.

Does that mean no POTG next year?
