Those tickets are already massively discounted though. Fair play that he’s tweaked the number of games that can be missed after feedback (surely no issues with that now) but I’d rather they focus on having FZ resell tickets as cheap as possible than refunding. That would mean those with kids that have missed out on a ST or those with kids that can’t go regularly, can at least get to some games at discounted prices. Would be good if that’s the plan

Which isn’t the aim of courseI agree, if they don't do this then they are basically asking an adult who sits in the FZ to pay twice for any game that their child cannot attend. That adult may not bother going at all to those games in that case

I guess the difficulty there is it probably works out cheaper for my mate to now have a ST with us but then the cost of a junior season ticket there is ridiculously overpriced so it will screw him again. I get that the deal in FZ is currently great value for him (as long as they both go, which they do to 90% of weekend games) but the alternate options for sitting anywhere else for children are ridiculously overpriced. Feels like something has to give.

My daughter will miss games. She gets ill and sometimes gets left home as a punishment. Plus she has a school trip and holiday with her mom which is at least three games missed.
Having to buy full price for those few games plus a couple more when she can’t make it means I may as well just buy full price in standard zone. Saves the pissing around last minute to get a ticket when she comes home from school with a cold on match day or whatever.

even as soon as they announced the change people were openly talking about how to rig the system so they could get in cheap and even now we've got people talking about scanning tickets of people who aren't there to try and get round the rules

I can't remember what junior tickets cost before the FZ, but it would have been very significantly lower than the adult price even in a standard zone. The FZ was intended to give kids a reasonably priced opportunity to watch the Sky Blues with an adult.
