NEWS: Dave Boddy issues Club Update following Ricoh Arena deal

Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy has confirmed further details following the announcement of the Sky Blues’ return to Coventry after the signing of a deal to play at the Ricoh Arena.
www.ccfc.co.uk

We’ve seen some comments about pricing of Season Tickets when we return, so I’d like to take this opportunity to say that Adults who buy a Ricoh Return Membership with a Season Ticket will pay a total of £299. This is the same price as our last season at the Ricoh in League One, represents really great value for fans and we’re sure will be well received.

“In the meantime, there are positive changes at the Ricoh Arena that fans will see compared to recent years that we have been there, and we look forward to announcing details of those to our fans in the coming weeks and months.”

It’s got a marketing name “Ricoh Return” like “Championship Club”

We are 100% getting a special kit.

Will depend on how many are allowed in there’s been talk of 25% capacity of theatres, cinemas, sporting venues etc. Initially if that happened it would only be about 8000, bit low I reckon but at least a start.

Free to build your own if you can find a partner but the running costs are insane.

It literally says everything that's known so far in the article posted less than 20 minutes ago.

that 25% is May - supposed to be 100% from June if Boris's plans are not sidetracked by Whitty

if they are only allowed to sell 8,000 STs to start with, you'd hope they'd all get snaffled up (with the return and - hopefully - Championship football). Especially at such a reasonable price.

Bargain, I'm in. Hopefully if there is a limited number there will at least be enough to allow all season ticket holders from the last season at the Ricoh to renew to avoid an argument about those who went to Birmingham getting priority.

£299 is a fantastic season ticket price for the Championship. I know we are not a traditionally big selling season ticket club but I hope this changes that, even if only for a season.

I imagine there will be enough, approx how many ST holders did we have last year at Ricoh, anyone know?

Imagine priority will be given to the current Club membership holders and then a free for all

Everyone’s got to start nagging people to go now. Parents who couldn’t make it to Brum, kids who haven’t been up, mates who have fell out of the habit. Season Ticket Fund hopefully will be able to chip in for those in need as soon as capacity isn’t limited.

If this team can stay up, a bit of investment and a lot of support could see a really special season next year.

Not sure about that but hope you are correct, there may be ways around the 25% for example could it be 25% per block not sure what each side holds and one side is considerable larger than the others.
Witty as you have mentioned will be very influential and I’m certain Boris will run with his departments recommendations there will be no risks this time.
