Robo, they're not accusations, merely my opinion. My views.
You really DO trust Sisu don't you.
I find that quite alarming.

Sixfields is all wrong Robo, you know it.
Financially.
Morally.
It is the move of a ruthless Hedge Fund.
Pressley hates it. He's said so.
It's bad for our club, our team.
Does them no favours.
Loses us points.
Loses us thousands of fans.
There will be many people who've read about Callum Wilson on here, but who have never seen him play.
Denied by people in suits, who care nothing about that.
You and the others, all good supporters obviously, are being conned.
Time to wake up and see the bigger CCFC picture.

Spoinkop that's utter claptrap and you know it. By entering Sixfields it does not mean you condone the actions of the owners , it means devoted Football Fans cannot stand by and not watch there Football, of whom they support with such loyalty and passion.

Your opinion is misplaced.

There doing both.
Supporting the team and supporting the SISU plan which requires SOME fans present there to keep it under the FL radar. We all want to support but I personally can't sit there in the presence of that twat Fisher knowing what HE has done to us.

Robo......"what I would say is that unless anyone comes on here and states that reason for going to Sixfields it's not the case of why they are doing so."

You said it. I'm not trying to score points Robo, your statement implies your trust in Sisu.

Callum Wilson has played at the Ricoh, he also played in a few away games last season.

Only a percentage travel away. He played a handful of games at the Ricoh. You know that but you're just being awkward as usual.

No it's called being impartial. You jump so quickly on to others because they watch City at Sixfields, your accusations are completely inaccurate as you state that the motive behind these attendees is because they acknowledge and approve of the work of Sisu, it don't work like that!

Some people go because they want to watch the Club they have grown up for 5, 10, 25, 50 years..

I never said Sixfields is right Spoinkop, again your putting words in my mouth.

Why am I being conned?

The bigger picture that people should stop going to Northampton? Well yes in an ideal world no fan wants to go, but they do and they're liable to make that decision for themselves.

Just stating a fact, is it really valid to moan that people might not have seen him because we are in Northampton?

What other things will people come up with, with how it has damaged them.

This is not me defending it, just pointing out that people say silly things.

The idea that if some fans attend Sixfields, the FL 'won't notice' is absolutely ridiculous! As is the idea that those fans are supporting a SISU plan - they are going to watch a game of football ffs, maybe they couldn't give a hoot about the politics, as is their right! And anyone who honestly believes that if nobody attended the FL would get hard core and SISU would shit themselves is a fool.

I am pretty sure the FL know all about it without having to have a radar. They either know / believe something that we don't in terms of SISU and back them or just aren't actually bothered at all.

Did you manage to go to the Arsenal game while Fisher was there too?

That's his MO. Make up a stance in order to launch an attack, then hide behind either 'opinion' or someone else's words.

Just my opinion, but I am not having it. If (i am not for a second saying it will happen) they changed the name to Northampton Sky Blues tomorrow, would those 1,500 still be going to watch a game of football and not giving a hoot about the politics or would they be supporting the name change ?

Our club no longer plays in our town. This isnt just about "politics" its about our future as a club, Coventry City

Of course its about politics, in the end almost everything is.
I'm not saying they are not City fans who wouldn't care if the name were changed. I'm just saying that some don't read forums, don't care who owns us and are only interested in what goes on in 90 minutes and discussing that with a mate, a son or a father. I'm sure they'd rather not travel 35 miles but perhaps most would rather do that than give up what they love. You can get all moral about if you want to but you cannot expect others to do the same.

I find it hard to believe that the FL will start to pay attention if we have no fans attend. As previously stated with locals, corporates and away fans this would be impossible to do anyway so if its 1,200 or 800 it isn't going to make a difference. In respect to SISU relying on home fans, I think this again isn't the case as they have had a whole season with piss poor gates. The club is clearly absorbing more and more debt but an additional 100K revenue from current ST's isn't really going to make a massive difference is it?

I don't think people should go but equally I don't blame people who just want to enjoy a Saturday watching football (guilt free)

Robo, I stand by every word. Sixfields supporters are supporting Sisu.
Going along with their strategy.
Do you REALLY believe this rubbish about a 3-5 year plan from Sisu?
No, Robo, your loyalty to them is misplaced.
Now is not the time for sitting on the fence. We are in a Wimbledon like scenario.
An empty stadium will send an even bigger message.

What makes you so sure of that because the fl did so much to stop us moving from coventry, and the media will not bombard the story they would feature it a couple of times and it would not change a thing. Also no i do not condone what the owners are doing or what the council were doing all I know is that my loyalty is not misplaced I love ccfc with a passion no matter the owners or our council members be cause In the end its about watching the team I love, not all people agree with me and I respect that but I don't go around saying how their stance is wrong and how they should change it !!!!! #PUSB !!!!

Current situation is that the fl backed the move to sixfields !!
If no home fans turned up to sixfields could the fl continue to back the move to sixfields ????

Could the fl give the golden share to the fans ???

Yes, and I'm amazed that anyone can have any kind of faith in the Football League otherwise. If keeping fans happy was in any way an actual priority for them, they wouldn't have sanctioned a move in the first place that saw roughly 80% of fans no longer attending. They replied cap in hand and full of (definitely genuine) remorseful empathy that they wanted to make sure fixtures could be fulfilled and then cited the stadium that nobody believes is going to be built, so the idea of them suddenly riding in on white horses after all this shit they've already let slide seems a bit fanciful.

i dont expect others to do the same, however i do think that many of those 400 season ticket holders will have a tipping point (which we may never get to), be it another few years in Northampton, name change, badge change, colour of kit, whatever it maybe before they would make the same decision.

Its just that for the 80% or so, the tipping point was taking us out of Coventry with no visible sign of coming back.

Martyr????? And I'll ignore the rest of the offence caused by the reply.

It may not make a blind bit of difference to the outcome but it will make a difference to me, I actually feel happy that I'm making the right decision for me. I feel guilty for not taking my little girl but at the end of the day she's better off not supporting them, we're shit, no ground and just about every owner in our history has and continues to shit all over the fans.

Why on gods earth would I actually want her to support a team that does that.

I'm not sure the Football League would say anything - think they are hoping the problem will just sort itself and nobody will notice in the meantime :thinking about:
