didn't cause a big issue, but my season ticket wasn't activated or my 2 pals either. They said it was just some but i was wondering how many other people they couldn't be bothered to activate?

There was a bloke outside telling us that some tickets were having problems. All the ones I saw were fine though.

Mine was fine. A guy in front of me with a young kid had problems, but stewards just said go into this one and sort it before Watford.

Mine was ok but my lads wasnt - no apology and was told to get it sorted for next match but surely its the clubs mistake and responsibility to do that. Another PR cock up

I purchased Four.
Mine and the Son in law's worked, but the two grandsons Didn't
The steward who let us in said it just a few isolated pockets, but it looked like much more than that, there was two stewards operating the turnstiles manually, it was quite a problem.

we went to the ticket office after the game "To Sort It" But the crowd was too big, we would have been there a couple of hours. the phone lines will probably going into meltdown on monday, so it looks like another personal visit to see Jimmy Hill,.. the statue that is!

Mine didn't work was just told to get it activated before the Watford game.

What a shambles our club is, can't even issue ST properly. This was topped off by cocking up the substitution yesterday when Christie came off also.

Mine was ok but my brother's wasn't.

I have another ticket problem to sort out tomorrow. I wanted to buy brum away tickets for saturday on the net but they don't have a student option on the site. So i phoned up and said i have to talk to the office at the ricoh when its open. I dont really want to buy from the ticket office directly because ill probably get given a ticket near the front :-(. They have every other option apart from student and i apprently can't buy my ticket as a oap, even though its the same price, because ill be refused entry.

They used to but they changed it as people could buy student tickets for away games who weren't actually students.

So basically it's now a requirement that student ID is shown at the time of buying a ticket.

My ST worked fine yesterday although it didn't work at the Norwich pre-season game.. had to walk round to the ticket office for a paper ticket, and for some reason the steward was grumpy about it even though I am the one who was inconvenienced!

Ye i see the reason and it is valid but if the stewards or turnstile operators checked (like the do at brum and leeds) then there wouldn't be a problem with them losing out, because cov don't gain anything from the away ticket sales.

It is because you need proof if you want to buy a student ticket says it on the city website

"Student tickets can only be purchased in person from either the CCFC superstore or City central. Proof will be required and will need to be taken on the day."

EDIT: just saw someone has already said this

I know, I'm as disappointed as you as I saved a few pennies at away games last season posing as a student

Haha well what do you do when Brizzle are charging something like £26 for an adult and £15 for a student and there is no young adult concession price.. you grow your hair, wear weird clothes and don't shower on the day of a game and wallah a student! No need for ID

My card didn't swipe, it is neither a childs or a concession & it was not bought on tick.
