Sure. Whatever happens this season, I've seen worse.

Freebie or renewing for me. Another one potentially interested in moving though. My knees can’t do the standing all game in block 16 anymore and I get frustrated at having to sit for a bit and missing some the game. Might be interested in seats behind the goal in the south stand but I guess the best ones are already taken. Will probably look into it when the time comes

I fully lost my head after the Oxford game and posted on twitter that I was considering not renewing. But now I've calmed down, yes I'll be renewing regardless of what happens this season

It’s OK to jack the season ticket in You’d get another one at the right rime for you. It frees up space for others as well. Given that City won’t be able to issue many more it may be the the wrong decision at the moment.

‘Even if the squad is changed it will be an opportunity to do more of the same rather than lose most weeks in the Prem (Assuming we don’t have new owners). BEin sport anyone?

Anyone who can afford it, but doesn’t renew
because they’ve thrown their toys out the pram if it ends up going tits up, is following the wrong club, and needs to get on the glory hunters bus following someone else.

Why would they? It costs 30% more to be a true plastic fan and factor in the travel costs it is counter intuitive. If we go up they’ll also see their plastic team next season.

Season ticket numbers have exploded in recent years. For a good chunk of those it will be because of year on year success. It will be a much tougher sell after what would be one of the biggest failures of all time.

Wouldn't be surprised to see some of those walk away.

For those of us who were sat there when you could have a few rows to yourself I imagine the vast majority will return.

Yes. As I recall, there are seats in the South Stand anyway. May even be some in areas like Block 15 as I think some will move to 10/9 if they can. It’s lost some of the sparkle it had but it’s still a good atmosphere.

I think there will be 3 seats in block 15 going as we're looking to move over to 9/10 or possibly even 4/5. We've been in block 15 since the move back from St Andrews and this is by far the worst season there, for reasons most of us already know.

Love a bit of back and forth with the away fans.

Fucking hell we’ve been all over the shop, with home grounds, dodgy owners, Russell Slade, Ken Dulieu and league two…. And blowing up a return to the premier league is the point you consider not getting a season ticket.

I moved over from 23 3 seasons ago. Not sure I’d want the ‘banter’ à la Middlesborough away. Maybe the club should move the away end to blocks 12 to 10? That way they’ll be sandwiched in between home fans. The atmosphere will be better for one thing. It may mean some changes in the stadium and going out of the ground but I’ve been to enough away games to realise that this can be done. It can’t be worse than the Portsmouth ground.

Well to be fair I think the media and fans of all the other clubs in the league will see it that way, as by all accounts nobody has lost a lead as big as ours before

Ffs weve W11 D3 L1 why anyone wouldn't renew a home season ticket if you're a fan wtf did you expect when you bought this one? Some of us who have seen the dross delivered away might free up a few to gain points though, as I'm not sure i can stomach another Deepdale or Carrow Rd visit without winning.

Yes I’ll still renew. It’s going to be one of two things. PL (unlikely now). Or Championship again. Only consolation with it being championship again is the spineless twats that threw it away this season will most likely be moved on in the summer.
Hopefully we have a likeable team next season

Yes. Wife, son and I will be back to watch us lose most games if in the PL or win/draw most if still in the Championship. Supporting CCFC is just in the blood.

I'll renew. I've been there with approximately 6k at St. Andrews, so count myself lucky to be able to see and support the team in Coventry.

Well that is it isn't it - It feels like this teams journey has all led to and will culminate this season, it is just a matter of how they will be remembered

Either end up being the heroes that got us to the Premier League or the bunch of players who squandered the biggest chance we have ever had to get back into the top flight

Simple question.

We bottle this year, go out with a whimper and either flop in the PO Semi's or drop out altogether.

Knowing this is our best chance in a lifetime. Squad will be dismantled in the summer due to contracts running short - league will be stronger next year. Players heads will have gone, and we'll likely be looking downwards rather than upwards.

Will you renew next year?

This gets said every year in fairness

The reality is we do not and will not know how strong the league will be next season until a ball has been kicked

Depends how you define bottle job. In the first relegated season we won 4 games in Feb scoring 14 and conceding 2.

We were certs for play offs minimum

We then contrived to lose 9 of the next 12 including the last 5 in a row - that was a collapse no one could explain

I define it as (potentially) being the first club in 122 years to throw away the lead we had at the halfway point

With a very young one (under 6 months) and living in London, I’m very on the fence about renewing as I just don’t think I’ll get the value out of it from the games I’ll make. Having had one for 3 seasons though, I know I’ll fall down the points pecking order without getting one

Would be interested to know if there’s anyone else in the same boat and how they’re approaching this conundrum!

Absolutely right and every year we miss out people say this was our best chance. The playoff final was our best chance with us being a couple of penalties away from the Premier League. But we keep bouncing back. Keep putting ourselves in the mix and one year (hopefully this year) it will happen.
