Without wanting to pre-empt what league we are in, how much it will cost etc, we still managed to purchase last year and I still think with capping, we will be able to this year, some years are tougher as I rely on donations from this site, kind shares from podcasts and social media and just pure donations of your hard earned cash.

Simple yes or no on setting up would help gauge whether it’s run its course or not, it has helped purchase hundreds of season tickets in the last 8 seasons for families who never would have had those days out and even if it’s just like year 1 where we helped just a few, still worth it?

I think you're the best person to be the judge of that! If you wanna do it and people want to contribute then why not I suppose, you've done a brilliant thing and played a part in filling the ground to get us to where we are today fair play to ya

Have said yes but if you don’t have the time or feel that now is a good time to lay it all down then would support that fully

Its a great thing you do - but appreciate it takes time and effort the rest of us don't give. I'll contribute again if its up and running.

Have the time and want it to continue, just wasn’t sure whether people would still be keen to have it and whether the capping of last year and the popularity of ST’s now along with pricing would make anyone think differently to contributing or having it in place.

If you have the time please do it. My family benefitted from it for 2 seasons, so I have first hand experience of how much it helps families

As someone who benefited from this for a season, I can't begin to express the gratitude my son and I felt to still be able to go to games. It's a fantastic thing and if the level of support is still there, I definitely think it should continue. When times were tough, it meant we didn't have to miss out. Always grateful for that.

If we reach the promised land, there will be 5000+ getting a free season ticket. Some of them (like me) may be in a position to donate when normally they wouldn't be able to.

Voted yes, but think it should be limited to Family Zone only now. We can fill the rest of the ground and I think if someone is struggling, then we all have to make tough decisions and cut our cloth accordingly sometimes, however painful that might be, but for kids to miss out and families with rightly other priorities on low incomes, that's a tougher call. I do get the impression some take advantage and I've heard stories of some getting a free one and then spending loads on other things, but as with anything in life, there will always be a few who get through.

I guess the acid test is what was last season like? I know times are tough and tickets more expensive, but what was the level of donations and is the appetite still there from others for all your efforts. I'd like to think those who have had one previously are now in a better position and can contribute back in some cases.

Alternatively (and I know it takes more admin / effort) could people share a season ticket between 4 or 5 different applications so they get a handful each if you have less tickets to go round?

Keep up the good work, definitely a place in heaven waiting for you (not that I'll be there to see it! )

Always amazed at the effort and work you put in for the benefit of others that may not be as fortunate as some of us.
I have voted yes, and will gladly contribute again, my only thought like others is with the number of season ticket holders we now have and if we reached the promised land, will there be season tickets to pick up

I love that we do this and that you put your time and effort in it for no reward other than making people happy.
I sincerely hope that should you ever decide to pack this in there will be some sort of permanent reminder to people of the great work you have done x

Voted Yes, I'm fortunate enough to be able to donate/contribute currently and happy to do so.
Keep up the good work, I do know others who have benefitted from things like this and the gratitude from it is massive.

Don’t disagree on family zone and we try to focus all on ST’s in that area, mainly as it was the reason set up an also cheaper and get more tickets for any money raised.
Appreciate the point on some who have benefited and maybe didn’t need the help. We feed off nominations and research what we can to try and minimise this but will always be difficult but we try.
Cheers for the good input, it really helps, if the club would allow, I am happy to see if we could administer splitting the ST’s in to blocks of 4/5 and if we keep the fingers crossed, they all want the Man City/Liverpool blocks

Voted yes, but as others have said, only if you have the time.

Great effort so far, well done and thank you!

That's really good of you and some people (who can afford it) make some very generous donations, but as a reminder to all, it doesn't need to be a huge donation and every £ matters. If just 50% of the people who post here could donate the price of a pint, it would be enough for many season tickets.

I will contribute as I have in the past.

Given where we might be, the high demand for season tickets, the desire of the club to maximise revenue etc. maybe it would be good to aim to raise a specific sum with a number of season tickets in mind in the family zone. Maybe a small number of deserving adult cases. Raising a specific sum could happen quickly and maybe the planned purchases could be discussed with the club in advance? Would that make the organising of it more certain and manageable? It feels to me like the task might be getting more difficult each year without the all the readily available season tickets there used to be.

I would imagine even a kids seat being £250+. So there would be a limit on numbers I guess

This is gonna potentially cost an arm and a leg, MMJ,
So roughly about the cost of another Keith O'Neill.
