DEFENDER Danny Seaborne could leave Yeovil Town today with Coventry City keen to tie up a permanent switch.

The former Southampton and Exeter City man – who only arrived at Huish Park in the summer – ended 2013 on loan at the Sky Bet League One outfit.

Centre half Seaborne, 26, made just 11 appearances for the Championship Glovers following his release by Saints before being made available for loan at the end of November.

The Devonian impressed City boss Steven Pressley during seven starts in his temporary spell and told the Coventry Telegraph only a medical and a few other fine details stood in the way of his transfer.

He said: “There’s just the medical and couple of other little things to tie up and I think he will be a really good addition to the group.”
