No no there are (insert amount) of games left and we are the best side in it. So it's not a must win.
No I don't get the logic either!

It'll be interesting to see what the crowd is next week, it certainly won't be anywhere near 17k.

Was going to post the same thing.

Two poor defeats in a row could cost us thousands off the gate.

Last 2 home games pulled in some floaters...today's result along with the home performances mean people will Stay away.

I think the gate will be OK. Winnable game and not had a home game for a couple of weeks after back to back which always has an impact and we are still in the play offs.

This is still the best it's been for years and now when we're in our sticky spell is exactly when they need us. In fact a pity they are already on general sale as it would otherwise be worth a promotion to get extra fans up there and prove we're behind them.

Share your sentiment, but it won't happen. We only have 6K ST holders remember, so when we pull in 17k it's requires a lot of momentum. You may find the floaters sit out next week - and that doesn't mean they have turned their backs. About 11-12K I reckon, which were the sort of gates we were getting early in the season and to be fair some of the best atmospheres this season have been at games with that sort of crowd.

Absolutely agree the best atmosphere has been when it's just the diehards.

Wanna see a huge backlash from the players this week. They should be hurting! We should smash Scunthorpe and get some credibility back into our promotion push.

This game is huge, now is the time to be that 12th man.

Incorrect. Of course there is. So if we were in the relegation zone, 2 points from safety with one game left, it's not a must win?

Think we will bring in a couple of players this week. Depending on "the names" it might help the gate.

I'm hoping that he brings a decent forward in. Although CCFC have said they won't pay a fee, I wonder if Sam Winnall at Barnsley might be worth a bid (has started scoring regularly for them). Leon at Bury must be breaking their bank - any takers until the end of the season? Anyone think MAF or Tudgay may go on loan. Finally, although he's only small and a kid, young George Thomas always seems to create chances whenever I've seen him (which is not a lot!)

Imagine having Leon Clarke as an option in this squad! Couldn't imagine he would like to be not 1st choice striker though.

I'm afraid I don't quite feel the love for Leon Clarke. He left on bad terms and isn't a very good personality to have in the dressing room, as you mentioned ISSS - I can picture him throwing his toys out the pram if he doesn't get played.

Someone who left like he did, is the person that shouldn't have fans wanting him back. It sends all the wrong kind of messages.

For me any new striker needs to be a proven one, we have been lucky with Armstrong and I have my doubts we will be again with another rookie kid, trouble then an experienced striker won't be happy on the bench, Newcastle won't be happy if Armstrong is on the bench so does it point towards playing 2 out and out strikers, bit of a quandary for Mowbray !

I fully get its a Non starter.

Just someone of that calibre at this level as our second striker compared to MAF & Tudgay.

Just do not want a loss.
No club so far has done the double over us and for some reason I want it to stay that way

Crowd will be interesting not that many from sCUNThorp so reckon 12/13000 is as good as it will get.

2-1 city win but any win will do right now just to get the confidence and winning feeling back, sure the crowd will be down a fair bit but hopefully no less than 12k city and whatever they bring guessing around 600-700.
