Bloody hell it sounds like we had a shocker today. What does it look like we need TM to lay his hands on to strengthen the squad? My first thought Is a goalkeeper to help out RCC.

Yep. I think two keepers in goal at the same time is a very good call.

Confidence is shot. Players are too safe in the build up, we have lost our flare. I dont think the knee jerk criticism of individuals on here helps. People always looking for scape goats. RCC, Phillips, Haynes, Rammage
, Burge, Lamieras, Cole, and Murphy have all come in for excessive criticism in the last month...that's two thirds of a side that has been in the top 5.

What we need is some continuity now. Go with our best line up for 3 to 4 games regardless of results. Put our destiny in the best hands with the fans backing the manager and squad.

No. And I'm sure if it had happened the ref would have loved to have had a reason to give a straight red followed by 'told you I'm the boss!!'

I saw him go for him after the booking but not punch him.

I thought RCC was poor today, but to be fair to him for that one chance where the striker got to the ball before him, it did have wicked spin on it. Saw it quite clearly from where I was. The ball didn't behave at all like expected.

I still expected him to get it however. He should have been more physical to make sure he got the ball.

100% correct, the ball was spinning away from RCC, so had he gone in all guns blazing, a penalty would have been the outcome I'm sure!

Not great that the intent was there. That would be enough for some refs.

He was that incompetent that if a player walked on the pitch with an assault riffle he wouldn't have taken any action.

Bigi and RCC glued to the spot for the first: http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...s/league-one/10149457/coventry-1-2-scunthorpe

Have to wait for the extended highlights to see the Murphy pen shout.

First goal is just ridiculous. They have four players in the box, we have eight. They still manage to win the first ball and then have a man stood 6 yards from goal, in an onside position, without a defender within 4 yards of him. You've got to laugh when Murphy quickly glances over at the Lino to see if Hopper was offside.

I think I pretty much called it, 11000.

Yet some one people said the club expected 13 k....club got expectations wrong by a distance.

You didn't answer my first post so now I'll ask you about your latest post how does his post tell you that he is homophobic and a racist? By the way my first question was how do you come to the conclusion that he is a member of edl? After all if I criticised a player from Norwich would that make mea potential edl member?

Terrible performance. Hopefully TM has got this in hand and we'll see an improved performance next week.

I know we always have a go at referees but he was shocking. His performance was summed up perfectly when he helped Williams up. Bizarre.

There was one pathetic punch in the first half.

I thought in the build up to the second goal leading to the corner, he could have collected the ball but slowed down for some reason and let the attacker beat him to the ball.

Just fed up of criticsing this idiot. There was a shot in the first half from one their strikers, it basically dribbled from 20/25 yards, yet he made a meal of it. He could have dived and saved actually held the ball in two hands. Yet he palms it out back into the danger zone. What a shit keeper.

How can a keeper look absolutely awful, yet hardly had anything to do.

Strange how the last couple of months the court jester Tom foolery videos of him have stopped. What a fool. Said he's shot of confidence months ago. He's been the major issue in our defence.

Hopefully hes he's played his last game.

Wonder what Scunny fans thought of their keeper who fumbled nearly everything that was thrown at him yet will probably be remembered for that one save V Armstrong? :thinking about:

What about it. Hes shit. Yes agreed he does make the odd good save. but watch him the rest of the match he's a completely lost.

Did you see their keeper save vs AA , that's what I call a " great " save.

Did you see the opposition keeper command his area.

Yeah the oppo keeper did fumble a few, which is fine if he's trying to command his area up to almost 12 yards out and trying to help your defence!

RCC couldn't command a 1 yard box, never mind 6 yard.

So had he been I goal for us for example, and parried or dropped quote a lot, fans wouldn't be getting on his back?

I get people don't like RCC, but would they rather we have Burge return? I know inform one wouldn't!!

The spin on the ball was always taking the ball away from him. From the resulting corner however I have no idea how he gets beaten at his near post. Too many errors beforehand from those in front of him though. Posted some tweets with pics earlier in this thread.

I actually don't remember Burge being this poor. Didn't Burge actually make a crucial penalty save first 5 mins vs Millwall. Yeah he had a dodgy game vs Burton away. But not sure he actually made any mistakes that cost a goal this season.

Admittedly both goalkeepers did look a lot better behind Reda Johnson and then Ben Turner.

Its nothing personal, I'd love for RCC to be be successful and actually be good.

But fact is he's been plain awful for about 11 games in a row.

Funny without him, that stat of 2 wins from last 11 would actually read possibly 5 wins.

And weirdly he holds the club's clean sheet record.

I'm not saying he's perfect but still rather havr him than Burge who i do think is poor.

He definately cost us points hence why he hasn't gotten back in to the team. Also if he was ever planned to be our number 1 keeper, he would have walked back into the team after the 'cold' he had which let RCC into the team in the first instance.

As for RCC being awful for 11 games in a row, I think that's a little exaggerated.

Me too! But I do think he could do with having a rest, just I wouldn't want Burge to come in for him.

To be fair....Mowbray did tell us around November time that his Boro teams were all top/top 2 at the halfway stage but finished outside the play offs each season. This looks to be the case with us too
