Combined with the Mancs getting beat in the final of a competition they shouldn’t have even been in, Sheffield United winning tomorrow would heal my football inflicted wounds from the last year or so

hopefully they win and get bounced all over the Premier League again next season

Electric chair I'd say. But that's a whole other thread

I don't really mind who wins out of the pair of them. That said, there is some reason to think that it would be better to have Sunderland back in our division, without parachute payments. They are likely, though to have a lot of money available from selling some of their valuable assets (albeit I think Bellingham is overrated by about double of his real value, because of his surname). Whichever of them remains in the Championship will be strong again next season.

I don't think Jobe who is the player with the surname Bellingham who's overrated. There I said it. It's out there, Jude Bellingham is a good player, not a class player as the media/pundits will have you believe.

Sheff Utd to get promoted for me
1. We'll get to sing "we saw you cry on the telly" next year to the mackems
2. Parachute payment team gone as really do think Leicester won't be as strong as usual teams that drop....Southampton a bit of a mixed bag but Ipswich will be very strong
3. Less time being in Sheffield the better....
I, like a lot of others didn't expect Blades to be strong this season. I think most of the footballing world underestimated them. I wouldn't be so quick to write of Southampton in all fairness. Leicester, yes, especially as they're looking at a possible points deduction.

If you have Hamer you can do ok but once he moves onto a big team they have nothing

Not much for either but along with many others I'm hoping Sheffield just because of the parachute payments

How Championship play-off final could tighten US grip on Premier League

If Sheffield United beat Sunderland on Saturday, the level of influence wielded by American investors in the Premier League will reach an unprecedented level, writes Dan Roan.

Yeah. Depends on who it belongs to.

When I was a kid, I wasn't so keen on Mr. Grayson's, the gym teacher.

So yeah, you can favour one over an other for sure

I know a bloke who did just that but with a pair of kitchen scissors. He was suffering with schizophrenia and thought they were put there by the devil.
Poor chap had to be rushed to hospital and the police officer who went to the address had the blokes cut of bollock in a bag of frozen peas

There was a story about a cult where a whole bunch of them each cut a testicle off, back in the 70's, but that proved to be a load of bollocks.

If Sheffield United turn up like a team that finished 14 points clear of them, there’s not a cat in hells chance Sunderland win

They won’t get away with setting up as negatively as they did against us, Sheffield United are a better side and will find a way through

They might not get away with it but that's their best chance of getting a result.

Trying to dominate possesion against them, like we did, is asking for trouble.
Unless youre Leeds of course.

Seems to be an arrogant certainty from Sunderland fans that it’s theirs for some reason.

Come on Sheffield Red!

That’ll be the beer talking, i remember the Luton game feeling confident, the walk from the green man was something else, then it got a bit quiet as you got to Wembley. You realise what your actually there for, they’ll be shitting it this morning, sheff Utd turn up they win but it’s a funny old game.

Some talk here of this being some sort once in a generation mismatch and that SU will roll over them . It's 3rd against 4th in a one off, high pressure game. I'd be pretty confident as a Sunderland fan too. United obviously slight favourites, but no more than that.

Momentum is fully with Sunderland. Unfortunately, I think they will win. They'll set up similar again and let SU have the ball.

Hoping for Sheffield win only on the basis that they will be the stronger of the two next season if still in championship. Sunderland I feel would be a top 10 side next year whereas united would be automatic contenders again.
However Sunderland’s victory over us (and their successful game plan) will give them the belief they can do the same again. Should be a fascinating game and the longer it remains 0-0 will boost Sunderland hopes of pinching it late on.

Of course!

That's why people say "you dropped a right bollock there"
Or "you've made a right balls up of it"

It's never the left bollock you drop, because that's the favourite!

Sheff Utd, as i like the idea of having the 6 pts next season. Also want to see Hamer, COH to get success at Wembley and although nothing to do with us to do Sunderland would be a nice end of the season.

they do that and they are fucking stupid

it took a shit back pass for them to beat us and we should of put them to bed normal time in the 2nd leg

be surprised if united miss the chances they'd get by them sitting back
