ill be going and out of the 2 taht usually do both will be so another 100% done well on the pricing here!1!! ill be at burton ill be at stevenage ill be at shrewsbury ill be at arsenal etc etc etc one game is the samer as another for me, a chance to cheer on my beloved sky blues rain or shine win or lose i will be there supporting the team i always have and always will
I would go if I lived in Coventry. But living in Nottingham and being 17 means that raising the funds to get to Coventry and then get into the stadium is impossible. Even when I have passed my driving test I will just not to be able to afford to get to any games my Dad cant take me too.
Does this mean I am not a proper supporter, someone tell me if I am so I can re-think my life.

If you want to attempt a forecast based on stats we had a cup game last Tuesday. There were 7,000 home fans to a far more recognised competition and superior opposition. The club have reduced admission but I never see that as a huge factor.
No more than 5,500. The person who said less than 1,000 is on drugs.
I'm not going. I am in Preston until at least 5 and will not be hot footing in back for the equivalent of the Simod Cup.
Joelly, when I was 17 - late 1960s - (I know, during the war etc!) I was hitchhiking around parts of Europe. What's wrong with you kids!
There must be lots of fans coming from your area. Connect up with them and get a lift. We'd love to have you supporting your team. Any fans willing to give a lift from that area to this kid?
I've used my very own special formula, using logarithmic values, cosines, scientific notation, and the formula to work out the area of a rhombus, and i think the attendance will be 5123
Dadgad, nothing personal. BUT if anyone counts themselves as a City fan, lives within a reasonable distance and can go and CHOOSES not to, then that is not the act of a supporter. Supporters just support their team. 'Previous results, quality of opposition etc' - absolute rubbish - Not good enough . If you're a fan you go. All these lukewarm 'fans' are a major reason we underperform as a club. No fans = no money - until there is a change of mentality anongst the lukewarms we'll continue to languish.
it is wildly optimistic to think that anyone who is not a fervent supporter would turn up week in week out no matter what the prospects.
No club can take ALL their fans for granted.
But what you can say is that the gate in the bad times is an indication of your core fan base. Hence City have a core of about 10000.
It is incredibly elitist to say that if you don't come to every game you are not a proper fan. By that logic only 10000 would ever turn up because everyone else would know they are not wanted.
This is not a scientific calculation or anything, so you'l have to bear with me, but I reckon that more people will travel down to London to see the Arsenal game than turn up tomorrow for the Burton one. Just a stab in the dark, etc etc
