Anyone see the two and a hlaf thousand extra people at the ricoh on saturday by having cheap tickets for schools. I know it was a 15k crowd but a fair few where from Southampton. Was just wondering if it had worked and got more people down to the ricoh.

Been doing this all season at the Ricoh. Different schools each time.

Guess it's a good way to disenfranchise new blood from ever coming up again.

I believe that City have been reported to the NSPCC for inflicting cruelty on impressionable youngsters and will soon have to abandon the exercise, especially as it has come to light that some schools have been using the threat of being "sent down the Ricoh" to maintain discipline.

haha brilliant!!

It has been a regular thing over the last few seasons. Does make you worry though that we must give out 1,000-1,500 free tickets to schools (as i dont anticipate they contribute towards them) yet we still only get crowds of around 14,000???

they may aswell offer £5 tickets to all school kids in cov right now for every single game, get extra 5-10k on to the attendence

£5 a ticket is better than nothing, would help the ricoh look packed too

They always allocate the school tickets to the Telegraph stand, and imo the Telegraph Stand on Saturday was the emptiest its been all season.

It's £1 for kids and £10 for the adults that take them. I've bought tickets through my son's school. I'm not prepared to pay any more than that to see the dross purporting to be a football team !
