Perhaps its age, but all my hatred of Villa, Sunderland and Leicester was just banter and not real.
But, I am really happy Plymouth and Luton went down.
There was something about their triumphalism when they beat us that really pissed me off. Add Birmingham and Wrexham. Lets hope we are not playing them next season.

Like above , most rivalries are just banter .
Only team I've ever hated was/is Liverpool for their fans costing us a place in Europe

I don't know why but I'm also glad Luton went down... Didn't give two shits about the fact it was them that beat us but they really are a pissant club that gambled using their premium money to sort their ground rather than investing in their team. I didn't want their parachute payments in the championship next season, hope they enjoy league 1.

It’s not the supporters, it’s the coaching staff and players. Not good enough so they are happy to cheat creating problems and negative consequences for fellow professionals and then revelling in it. Hence schadenfreude when the aim of their tactics goes awry.

I wouldn't say Luton were showing triumphalism because they were beating us, they were just desperate for 3 points in their attempt to avoid the drop. And maybe their passion was misinterpreted.
After 50+ years of supporting Coventry City I have no issue with Luton Town FC. They arnt Villa or Incester or Scumderland or either of the Sheffield teams, who really are wankers.

If anything, Luton have been through the same kind of shit that we've been through over recent years.
Yes they beat us on pens in the play off final, and we were all gutted, but that's football, it's not personal, and I wish them well for next season.

Logistically, it’s an easy away day… it’s just long!

I’m happy they went down because they gave it stacks after they beat us. The whole ‘staying down’ looks a bit silly when we’re in the playoffs and they’re fucked off back to L1.

Well thats just football these days isn't it (and quite frankly why i have nothing like the passion for it that i used to)

How many times on here do we have posts suggesting that we "shithouse" a lot more

I've always quite liked Plymouth.

I have absolutely nothing against Luton.

I didn't care who went down, but was quite pleased Oxford stayed up. I like clubs that punch above their weight (we also had two extremely exciting games against them).

I’d have liked Plymouth to stay up because it’s a really nice away day.

Glad Cardiff has fucked off.

Took 9 years for Luton to go up from Non-league to the Premier League. Now in 2 years they’re halfway back the other way. Lol.

As someone who lives in Plymouth, I wished they had stayed up. The West Country away day is a home fixture for me and the South West Supporters Club (yes, there is one) but hopefully that will be irrelevant anyway following the next 3 fixtures

Live in Exmouth, train journey to Plymouth is lovely and I find Plymouth folk friendly. Disappointed they went. Oh well, at least we don't have to listen to that dreadful 'Janners' song next season!!

Wish Preston had gone instead of Plymouth. They seem to me to have shithoused their way through the championship for too many years.

Id have liked Plymouth to stay up. Got taking to a few of their fans before the game in the fanzone and they were very family orientated and just love their club. Found their stewards and the club very welcoming as well.

luton on the other hand Im glad to see go down. Its got to be the worst ground and away day experience in the league. The away stand is not only a dump but also an accident waiting to happen and paying £32 for not only a massively restricted view but also no concourse, proper toilets or seats is a piss take. Whole ground needs knocking down.

on a side note just watched a vlog of their last game at wba and their fans chanting abuse at their players because they got relegated is just insane

Ball ache away day though.
Didn't go this season but loads of trains cancelled on the way back and people rammed on to the ones that were running like cattle.

That's not unusual on the south West routes.

Yes, I went 14/2/24 and found exactly the same. Most away stewards are very welcoming but I thought they were chatty and welcoming.

Cant blaim the club for that though. Im sure Labour putting the trains back to public ownership will sort that out though

They are building a new stadium, the cost of that might keep them down next season.

Luton Town releases pictures of new Power Court ground plans

The Hatters say the landmark plans have been validated by Luton Borough Council.
