Not looking good so far.

Well with likes of Tom Daley and cavendish missing out on medals, the accumulation of medals isn't very forthcoming so far is it!

Not good, though Dale Winton was very pleased when he heard that Rebecca Adlington got bronze.

China have been incredible in this Olymipics. They've really dominated. Hoping for a good result in Hockey men's and women's. We're doing well there. Ranked third in the world too :)

We were never going to do all that well. As host nation people seemed to forget that we aren't the strongest and can't compete with countries like the US and China.

China are rightfully staking a claim to be the best at most things as you would expect with the population of the place. That Kid (female) that keeps swimming faster than the blokes is a bit suspicious though ehh.

Think the expectation turns into pressure.

We do need to win gold from somewhere soon though, otherwise it could all go a little flat.

there has been alot of tactical play against the brits particuarly in the cycling given our reputation and probably expect more in the velodrome. Great that most of the cycling world fear us as a nation but hopefully we can pick up some medals!!

I think getting 2 golds and a silver in 5 minutes can put a stop to the complaining about a lack of medals, up to 5th in the medals table now, with a chance for more golds today, incredible stuff!

Also guaranteed silver in the women's judo

The Cycling starts now too, we totally own the cycling, at Beijing we won gold in 7/10 events. And as if to prove my point, this just popped up on the BBC:

WORLD RECORD - Great Britain (Women's team sprint cycling)
Victoria Pendleton and Jessica Varnish set a new World Record in their heat of the women's team sprint, a time of 32.526 seconds.

Cracking stuff, if we carry on like this it's going to be a bigger medal haul than Beijing! One more gold should push us up into third, not bad if you consider the population gap between us, the US and China!

And there's another gold!

And the gold (and Olympic history!) just keep rolling in, I'm still in shock at just how bloody well we're doing. Well worth the £13bn to host it!
