Sky blues POTS - Rudoni
Surprise team of the season (championship) - Middlesboro

Biggest SBT bed wetter of the season - Not enough room to list them all
Biggest knob on SBT - Not enough room to list them all
Best WUM on SBT - Not enough room to list them all
Funniest rumour -

Reason I've put 7th as my prediction for us is that I don't want to overinflate our chances so am balancing my expectations.

If we fail, I wasn't expecting much.

If we succeed, brilliant. I have something to celebrate.

Well I’m shocked, I thought I’d get “knob of the season” award considering the amount of / emojis I get on here but I’ll happily accept the “bedwetter of the season” award instead. Does that mean I’m not as hated as much as David O’Day is?

You're not a knob. Just a bit prone to saying one thing and then back tracking . Misguided enthusiasm is a better description

She did slave over that pork pie back in April for a special occassion, she hated all the work and labor.... I could mention that my mate wingy mentioned it's about time I'd had another, it's worth a try.
I expect to be either fancying a top meal tonight, or sleeping on the couch.

Halfway through the season so far this is how we stand:
Championship winners - Burnley (Leeds)

Sky Blues finish - 2nd (15th)

Relegated from PL - Leicester , Everton (Southampton), Ipswich

Sky blues top scorer - Simms Wright

Sky blues top assister - Rudoni

Sky blues POTS - Rudoni (up for debate)

Surprise team of the season (championship) - Middlesbrough and Bristol City (tie) (probably Watford or Derby)

Underwhelmers of the season (championship) - Sheffield United (got to be us, Luton or Hull)

Championship POTS - Georginio Rutter (up for debate)

Sky blues points accumulated - 84 (average combined was 84.42)
(So far 27 which averages to 54 so nowhere near for now)

Let's see how our individual thoughts panned out so far

Championship winners - Leeds -- so far it's tracking

Sky Blues finish - 5th -- just a wee bit off, maybe we'll optimistically finish 12th

Relegated from PL - Leicester, Ipswich, Bournemouth -- so far 2 outta 3, ain't bad

Sky blues top scorer - Simms -- let him start (ffs), this is the hill I'm tempted to die upon

Sky blues top assister - Wright -- this theory only worked if it was a Wright / Simms duo up front, I withdraw this prediction from further consideration...

Sky blues POTS - Sakamoto -- still a big fan of his, hoping for a 2nd half of season barn storming goals and assists and making defenders look like the wrong end of Three Stooges

Surprise team of the season (championship) - Wednesday -- I think them currently 9th is a bit surprising

Underwhelmers of the season (championship) - Hull -- cracked on accuracy, they are a mess

Championship POTS - Hamer -- still a cheat code for success, underutilized too

Sky blues points accumulated - 80 -- nope...

Biggest SBT bed wetter of the season -

Biggest knob on SBT -

Best WUM on SBT -

Funniest rumour - COH set to re sign any day now -- this became less funny as it dragged on

Looking back, so many had Everton to be relegated from the Premier and also Forest too.

I don't think anyone would have predicted the season Forest are having. Been real dark horses.

As for the City, did anyone foresee the lack of goals from Simms? He's only scored 7 in total this season, hasn't he?

I really thought he would kick on from last season, so that's a poor return for sure.

Luton have surely been the most underwhelming Championship side. I think most of us thought they would be right up there challenging at the top

Forest is the best one 3rd place and 4 points ahead of 4th. Fair play to them.

I had Simms as top scorer, really poor from him, 7 is not a great contribution. Wright for all his faults as a CF has 4 in 4 so you can see why Lampard is doing it.

I went with 2nd - and if Lampard was here all season we’d have been almost right.

That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.
