I'm all for it but what's it supposed to achieve?

I saw that on Twitter. How about doing in the 14th (after the JR) and it might have more purpose as fans might be a whole lot better informed.

A big gathering before jr would send a message

A gathering post JR may attract more fans, and with the picture hopefully much clearer - it may focus the efforts in a particular way that may bring a possible solution.

I think both has merit but what I think is important is we get a large gathering together to show the powers above we are still there and want a resolution

Isn't the hearing in. Birmingham? To make a statement, a walk from Gosford Green to the Birmingham court might be worthwhile

Hey BradwellSb Agree with all you say but they will never be powers above!! They only have a power to do something in this circumstance. WE are their equals all other respects and from a moral perspective the fans are the power above.

The major problem with our current owners is they have no empathy with us seppala doesnt even like football ,that's why we have been treated as we have.

In that case then whats the point of the forum that the idiot Labovitch is trying to put together or the little meetings that he has had? In fact what is the point of any protest that has been pre JR? The idea of the march is to show that CCFC fans want CCFC playing in Coventry, not just outside Coventry but back at our HOME and that the march is a chance for CCFC not to take sides but just one voice saying 'bring us home'.

We are talking about 1 week. It's hardly the most radical of suggestions.

It's your motives behind it that concerns me. Why can you not leave whatever agenda you have aside for a bit and think about the football club for a moment. This football club is about passionate fans supporting a club they love not for glory (that's pretty obvious) but because they feel it is a part of them, when talking about fans marching against playing outside Coventry, why do you feel the need to bring it about the JR. I couldn't give a flying fuck about the JR, I just want my club playing at HOME again. There is no proof that even if Sisu win the JR that we will be back at the Ricoh so for once why don't you shut up about the JR.

And you think a regular march is not going to have any motive behind it?

Even if the original person with the idea has none, there will be plenty of people that see it as an opportunity to further their agenda. That will happen whether we like it or not.

So if it's not a regular march... what's the agenda?

So if it's supposed to be about fan unity.. will you call everyone that doesn't go a 'non marching scab?'

It's one and only agenda should be Coventry coming home, not picking sides, not slating other fans, not bickering, not trying to pose questions about accounts, contracts, viability, who's the better fan because that can and will be done to death on here. If people decide to shout 'Sisu Out' on them march fair play and the same can apply if someone wants to shout 'ACL/CCC Out'. However, the thing thing we should be there for is CCFC coming home.

I will ignore your last pathetic comment because it is not something I ever have called anyone in this whole saga by that term and never will and I think that the people who continually try and bring the 'term' back up again are just as bad as the ones who use it. Feel free to check my whole history on this forum so to try and attach me to that term is completely out of order. If you choose to march fine, if you choose to go to Sixfields then fine too, but by the same token if you don't do either then fine, all your choices Ian.

So if it is about all of those things (and I agree that's what it should be) why the need to deride my original suggestion? My agenda is same as yours.... get CCFC back to Ricoh.

No, I said it should be about one thing, Coventry coming back to the Ricoh. I never said the march should be about anything else, it was you who brought the JR and people being better informed after it which brings into it the things that I said the march should NOT be about. By the way, I don't see my questioning you as deriding your original suggestion. In fact during our little conversation, I would say it was you doing that by bringing that stupid term you used when asking the question if I would call people non marching scabs.

Can't say as I've ever seen a post of his where he has called anyone a scab. Are you sure you want fan unity?

No you are right, you've not called me or anyone a scab and for that I apologise for suggesting otherwise.

But let me tell you about fan unity, I took my 2 children to see their first game on Fri, they are 5 and 2. It was a pretty enjoyable experience for them, they got to meet Sam and one or two of the players waved to them during the warm up. But on the way in, some people standing the hill said to my family 'there's another scab and his scabby family'. Now I can take it, but why the fuck should my kids be subjected to that?? My kids know nothing of all the dispute and were barely born when it started. Now forgive me if I question the idea of fan unity. Where some people think it is their god given right to give abuse like this because they view themselves as a superior fan.

I don't know who it was and to be honest given I had 2 kids with me I wasn't going to turn around and try and find out. Luckily they did not understand... But how can anyone justify doing that to another human being, never mind a fellow fan?

I'm not saying that everyone there is like that, and there will be plenty that do their thing, without bothering no-one and fair play to them. But sadly we have some who have no respect for fellow fans.

Why that is? I couldn't even begin to guess.

Would never call you a scab but don't understand why you have gone to your first game last Friday? What changed your opinion on the situation?

You came across an idiot if it happened. But why tar the rest of us that won't go?

I don't have a problem with these meetings that have been happening with Labo. They are only about 7 years behind with talking to us fans. But it isn't for us. I would say that they know that there is hardly any chance of something coming out of the JR for them. And they now know that CCC are going to see it out. Too close to the date for them to pull out. They would have done so by now. So as there are no more legal routes to take they need us on their side. Just a shame they didn't do it years ago.

I would be happy for a walk to happen. But why before the JR? Would the judge be there to see it? To me it would be best to have a chance to digest what happens with the JR. We should find out lots that we don't know. CCC even said that we will find out everything after the JR. SISU have made out at times that we don't know what CCC have been up to. We all have our suspicions. But once we have the proof we can see what needs to be done. What is the need doing a walk and protesting against a side that has done about everything that they could do? Or against a side that has been treated unfairly?

Let's be clear - I know it's only a tiny minority. And I'm not tarring anyone - it just has left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Amongst everything that has been said that was my original point. A walk after the JR will mean whatever information comes out that we will all be better informed and it can be targeted accordingly.

But that is my point, why bring the JR into it. By doing that you are suggesting that fans/people will change their viewpoint. If it turns out that ACL/CCC have done wrong then that will not make me all of a sudden do an about turn and applaud Sisu for taking us to Sixfields because that alone is bad enough in a lot of peoples eyes.

The march should be about one thing and one thing only and that is getting CCFC back to the Ricoh. Doing it before the JR proves that it is that alone that all CCFC are united in. After the JR you can let everyone argue and bicker about fault and blame but marching as one because we want to be playing at the Ricoh is the way I think it should go. That is only my opinion and everyone is entitled to theirs but there appears to be far too much muddying of waters at the minute. One march, one voice, one agenda united in the hope of a return to the Ricoh.
