He's just signed an new contract at Reading. Anyone know whether he's played this year for them? Reckon he could be coming back out on loan (like Murphy did at Norwich) but had to sort a new contract first so if he impresses again out on loan - clubs can't take him cheaply, like they could have done because he had a year remaining.

If we did manage to get him back, what a great signing that would be. On the flip though, our two best strikers (Armstrong and Samuel) could be recalled anytime.

I think there is a very good chance he will be loaned out after Christmas if back fit.

Had a injury preseason, due to come back around November time I think.

He has
Sa
Vydra
Blackman
Cox

All ahead of him so decent chance he will be loaned out.

His injury wasn't as bad as feared and he could be back in 2-4 weeks I think.

Due to return from injury at the end of October, could be worth signing on loan in January if Armstrong goes back to Newcastle

They're completely different, surely?

They have a completely different look for starters. Wallace has ginger hair and Samuel doesn't.

He'll have done well to still be the same player after 2 serious knee injuries

He's also now 59, so a lot slower than he used to be.

Or are you talking about Samuel?

He only signed a 1 yr deal in the summer. If he's earner a new contract while recovering from two injuries in quick succession, he's done well!
