Everything points to it being him given the job, why else has he been lurking around since retiring. Did his badges last season too.
Announcement by the club at the latest of tomorrow the statement says on who will replace Slade.

I heard he did his badges too.

Unfortunately they were in basket weaving and helping old people across the road.

I've now got a few quid on him, so I'm all for the club getting a severe dose of Ricketts.

If he's been around all season and involved in the coaching, what evidence do we have that he's any good? There's only one reason for appointing him and that is he's cheap. On that basis, SISU should go down the local job centre and hire a random unemployed person and be done with it.

Mark Robins is current favourite 1-8.
Surely we won't go there !

I'd install Bobby Gould 4 the remainder of the season and , is there anyone better to lead the team out at Wembley ? #TheGouldFather

He wasnt in the original betting odds so likely someone's just took a punt and put some money on him
(Screenshot taken quite early on because I live a sheltered life and hoped at some point I would get to use it. And now is my chance )

Looking at Robbins odds do the bookies know something we don't. Or has someone chucked a wedge on him coming back.

Would rather we go for someone youngish, hungry with ambition and a point to prove. Someone who has done well recently at League 2 or National League level would be ideal. Failing that I would be happy with Cotterill or Robbins but doubt they'll come.

Why not appoint Gordon Milne or Noel Cantwell's ghost?
