It's terrible. The issue we have (in this country, it probably doesn't equate to the incident above) is that for years we had pundits say how clever it was when Harry Kane mastered the art in it, continually backing into players as they jumped, falling over and claiming a foul with complete disregard to his opponent, that the general football fan probably thinks there's nothing wrong with it, until their own player gets injured.

It's so easily done too. Just the slightest of nudges can result in terrible injuries.

These players clearly know exactly what they are doing.

It is not just the players that are culpable, it is managers too for allowing them to do it.

It still amazes me that Wagner got no punishment or even warning for publicly admitting he told his players to go out and hack Sakamoto + COH, and that he was proud of how well they did it.

It's the words used though isn't it not quite as your interpretation of it, although that was implied and a pretty disgusting take on it,I suppose the powers that be aren't going to open a can of worms when half of teams will be trying to impede the other by such means, maybe we have a secret code or something but it doesn't come across that way, probably in development as we speak?
