...appears to have this fantastic aspect to his game being slowly knocked out of him. Not his fault. Tactically not right for him to do so given how deep he plays and how little our forwards get into the box.

He can whip a ball in as good as Becks. More's the pity.

Do you ever see anything positive in life? Never mind football.

I have to say he can, otherwise RFC will tell me I'm really really miserable. Besides, I think he is a superb crosser of the ball. Pressley has obviously spotted it and said "No you don't laddie."

Although a slight exaggeration, it is a good point. Early on in the season he was our most creative player from left wingback, we now play a system that doesn't give him enough space to get forward or he has been told not to get forward which is at odds give willis was allowed to get forward a lot.

Pressley has ruined him, feel sorry for him. Wonder how long till Pressley ruins Maddison as well?

Look at the goal vs Gillingham at the Ricoh, Haynes getting in behind, reaching the byline and pulling the ball back for a tap in. He should be trying to do this 5/6 times a match but he hasn't even done it 6 times in the whole season.

What's the reason for this is it
A lack of confidence from the player
A lack of ability from the player
The player is being instructed tactically not to do this because Pressley doesn't want us being caught on the counter

There is being positive and then there is being deluded. It isn't positivity that you suffer from.

Haynes will become another player knocked on here but will move on and make a bit of a name for himself, the league is full of them.

haynes weekness is he is a poor defender- positioning etc is not great - that is why he is not yet a regular

Like Cyrus Christie was according to some on here, now an international, great chance of Premiership football next season and a firm favourite with the Derby supporters

The lad will be a good player, remember his 1st game and how far he has come since then? But has no confidence at the moment and the formation does not suit him, he needs space and confidence that if he goes forward there is cover. I said in player rating thread, for him, he needs to go out on loan for a month with no pressure to re-find himself, but as his cover for Sicknote, no chance.

Just hope people lay off him and support him, he will come good again

not comparing to other players- i know a good defender - and he has a long way to go yet - he is not a bad wing back, but not a great defender yet

Everybody seems ready to argue about SP's opinion! (I notice that he was singing the praise of Jack finch on CWR after the game, yet the world and his wife were failing to see what he was bringing to the team at the moment - along with Fleck)!

Haynes will make a far better winger than defender.

Thought Haynes was pretty poor when he came on but he is young, it's hard coming on 60/70mins in when its fooking cold.
