Who owns it then.

I was under the impression they mortgaged it to the hilt. Then they made out that they cleared the mortgage.

I thought they still owned though

Maybe Ken Dulieu owns it and after the club folds he is going to build the worlds biggest tanning salon in it's place

People saying this is an old story, I've never heard this before. In fact, every time a conversation comes up about our assets, Ryton is always listed as one... So why hasn't anybody corrected that if this is so old?

So another part of our history could be sold off, perhaps they could finish us off with the open top bus, the replica FA CUP and some of those M&B beer bottles. Tragic times.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but that's not the same as selling it, is it?

I am fairly sure they don't have any money so I wouldn't be surprise if this was true. A desperate attempt to cover the holes in their threadbare finances and persuade the Football League that they do have funding in place for next season.

To maximise returns & leave someone else with the problem of having to buy it back when they exit? No, couldn't be anything like that could it..

Don't bother just yet; it will be a few days/weeks till it is shown by the Land Registry.
