Christ, it's amazing you keep ranting but you still fail to process what's actually being said.

Probably because, like the rest of us, he wants SISU done. For that to happen someone needs to make an offer SISU deem acceptable.

The price Sisu deem acceptable will never be offered to them though by anyone unless they lower their expectations.

If it was a normal business £2M for the actual value of the club and £30 on the squad,

Nobody knows what it will cost to get rid of SISU. And nobody will find out until they sit around a table and talk. And there are no signs of it happening yet.

.... because they will never get there money back so why hang around ?
I could understand it if they were actually taking the £2M interest as its a reasonable return for their input.
They must be pinning their hopes on JR2.

They would if someone slapped £20M on the table. That's probably why we'll miss out to Charlton if the rumours are true.

Nobody would pay what they want and still be able to run a viable business on the debt taken on.
Similarly there is a big risk if Sisu are promised money tomorrow on player sales and promotion.
The only hope (none) is that they take the asset value for the club plus some goodwill.
....or someone comes in and throws money at Wasps, CCFC and Ricoh collective deal for the fun of it. :emoji_money_mouth:

Do you find it that easy to imply something without saying it so much that you do it without realising?

I honestly don't think Joy will sell. Partly because it's Hoffman and she's obviously got issues with him, mostly because it's probably worth seeing if we can bounce back up next season, even if you wanted to sell. A club on the back of promotion with 10k+ regular fans is worth more than we are now. We've just won our first silverware in 30 years and have a promising manager in, personally I'd take the gamble anyway if it wasn't going to cost me and I'd sunk 9 years and X million in already anyway.

I agree with the sentiments here - unless it is what sisu class as a reasonable offer, no particular rush to sell.

So it's not been said then and it's what you want to read. Even though it's been cleared up multiple times?

On the other hand... every day that passes is a day closer to homelessness and that diminishes the value of the club.

Sisu deserve nothing. The only time I have seen talk of giving them anything is this notion of packing the ground to give them something to sell. Just puts the price up and gives them more it doesn't actually change their stance.

However nothing does not get rid of them. They in a strange twist could almost be seen to be holding the club/fans to ransom. Therefore there is a price to pay that their stewardship of Ccfc fully does not deserve

It is not about paying for value it is simply paying the lowest price that sees them depart. Two very different things and definitely not about giving them a gift or even encouraging it..... but equally seeing them gone is not about value under pinning it all. The price in the end will be more than the value acquired in my opinion

Juggy tweeted he spoke to consortium member who said 3rd bid been put together but it's difficult as joy just doesn't want to talk - make of it what you will.

Doesn't stop them submitting it as they did the previous bids.

Good to see that consortium member's taking heed of Hoffman's desire for details not to be leaked...

I suspect Hoffman has good idea of what Sepalla wants or would accept. She for her part knows they/we are desperate to get her and her organisation out in a way that puts her in control but then as someone pointed out the nearer to the end of next season with no ground decided the more our value deminishes. Or perhaps the Aussie rumour has weight a bit of an auction would clearly suit and of course the Aussies are on the sideline watching. Another delema though for Sepalla is the very poor ST take up will cost them money wages alone for the whole workforce must be a fair wack to find each month, money they ain't got.

Not denying the ground situation needs sorting out. However what pressure does that put on Seppala to do a deal now. It won't force the FA/ EFL to take action against Sisu who can point to being blocked at ricoh and bpa. The fa/efl will always side with their member. No deal means allowing a ground share. Easier to relocate a team with fewer fans.

In the meantime if Ccfc successful next season it would be interesting to see if wasps maintain their no talks stance. As much as anything what works against Ccfc staying is the falling attendance and bad team performance reverse that .......

Not sure anyone knows what she wants ....... including Hoffman . If he did surely he wouldn't think his bids would be accepted? There seems to be a big gap

But the EFL have a duty to the whole membership and at the up and coming AGM in May questions from member clubs could well be asked don't expect others to just roll over, rules are rules. I've been to AGM meetings admittedly at a much lower level and sympathy can be very lacking and other chairmen will look after their club in anyway they can they have a duty too, especially if they have a beef with us or our Timmy. Question could be this Hoffman bid seems to be in two bits the lump sum and the add ons I suspect one of them is the sticking point but which one ?

I'm not worried about the FL. They can't force wasps to let us stay, so will use their discretion and allow us to groundshare again temporarily. It won't come to that, as I'm sure when it comes to it, Wasps will agree another short term agreement for us to stay.

Somewhere in the middle probably.

And because they will never get a better offer?

I'd tend to believe that. How do you get to a third bid if there's been no dialogue?

I think we have seen throughout SISU's tenure that they are extremely difficult to deal with. I can imagine that negotiations will take a very very long time with much moving of the goalposts by SISU when the deal moves close to finalization. I am still not convinced however that the current consortium have enough funds to buy the club and finance a promotion push to the Championship.

Exactly. What if Wasps maybe 'encouraged' by CCC don't agree a new deal, where will we play? Can't see Birmingham,Walsall or even Northampton agreeing to a ground share, when they will surely realise the open fan hostility to such a move. The Butts is surely a non starter, is a Nuneaton ground share likely, maybe, but I wouldn't bank on it. The salient point is that SISU don't control that decision, they are reliant on the goodwill/cooperation of another football club.
