Any news on this?

Originally I thought it was said after international break but I guess Frank didn’t specify which one?!

If it’s just a calf thing, surely back in contention / on the bench fairly soon?

Last I heard Lampard say was “hoping he’s back before the break” which doesn’t sound too promising.

Think it was said somewhere that it might be around the Sheff Utd game, but (given our current run) they are likely to be sensible and cautious. Absolutely no point in bringing him back until he is as near 100% as possible. Guessing it will be giving him minutes towards the end of games to get him back up to speed.

It’s clearly beneficial to get him back but not as critical as first assumed as we’ve won every game since his injury

Yeah realise he’ll be benched and eased back in, I’m just eager to see him on the bench asap!

Now that you've mentioned that, didn't our ridiculous run last season coincide with a key player (s) out injured

BTA, but I reckon I’d injure myself trying to injure him, even if I was using weapons.

We are fortunate that we can slow his recovery, and then slowly integrate him with substitute appearances until hes at top speed. We arent in a position where we need to bring back crocked players anymore

I'm not sure it is just a calf thing but there was/is a calf problem. Reading between the lines he also has to strengthen his shoulder too

Calf issue. He’s been training, had scan start of week.
Think Wrexham could be bench option, depending on scan results.

What a bench that could be, woolfenden, Hayden, wright, sakamoto and Rudoni , and we were worried about squad size

Did make me laugh after the transfer window closed many people thought that we would instantly have 4 players out injured at once for the remainder of the season

Have no insider knowledge, but reading between the lines he is managing his shoulder problem. May get pinned at the end of the season.
They have said the shoulder is hindering gym work which players use when they can't kick the ball.
Lamps will want the opposition guessing, but Rudoni doesn't seem to be back on the grass yet.
The few weeks statement could mean anything..

Really hope he is back and the sooner the better. Lampard said he was only doing light work in the gym hindered by his shoulder. Maybe 2 weeks or so ago.
Lampard usually says a player is back on the grass. (Bit Only Fools and Horses) when they are back. Has been very vague about timescales. Haven't seen him on the pitch during the City Unseen videos.
Lets hope the scan mention is accurate and we see him ASAP.
