Not seen that, not really on social media.
You wouldnt think they'd be doing that if it was serious?

Was it Ipswich in some daft cup?

Went to a Norwich game with a mate back in the late 90’s, Phil Mulryne broke his leg in the centre circle, it honestly echoed all round the ground, couldn’t believe how loud it was like a shotgun blast.

If Torp is fit i'd bring him in as a straight swap for Rudoni and keep the rest of the team that started vs Oxford.
Sheaf and Wright looked as rusty as a bag of old nails and I wouldn't even consider starting either of them.
In fact I just don't think a midfield trio of Grimes/Sheaf/Eccles would work, and as others have said Grimes would be one of the first names down on the teamsheet.

That's my thinking, there was a post from Rudoni laughing about it which you wouldn't expect if it was a season ending injury.

Agreed

If you play Grimes and Sheaf, the 3rd man in there has to be Allen or Torp, not Eccles

Paterson should be nowhere near starting. Tbh he shouldn't be near the squad he's so far off it you may aswell have me on the bench

I dont get why we signed him. At this rate Maguire will prove to have been a better signing.

Paterson average score for us on who scored 6.05, Maguire 6.15. Case closed. Maguire is Messi.

Do you know who was rated our worst players against Oxford? Would be interested to see

We could really do with him stepping up, he should offer something Torp Allen Eccles or Sheaf can’t.

And Rudi's was Houchenesque in it's style but a tad closer to goal.

It’s a valid question considering there’s 11 games left and he looks way off it

Cliffie Hodgson at Coventry Rugby kept playing with a shoulder that kept popping out. Regretted it and was never the same player. His heroics didn't really move the club forward either.

Yes players in some sports play through injury (speedway was the biggest I have followed). But fans like you have long forgotten their heroics while they suffer in later life. Arthritic pain and lack of mobility is no different if it is a knee or a shoulder. You obviously haven't suffered these things..... Otherwise I would be calling you a moron

Hobo, which speedway team have you followed? I used to support the Cov Bees, home and away during the summer months when the football season had finished.

Theres literally not, and hes likely to be released end of the season anyway.

I'd be amazed if he has more than 3 games worth of minutes.

Paterson was good in this league last season. His 5 month contract will barely cost us anything. Maybe they're considering an extension if he can get a bit sharper.

If we went up he would be the first one out the door.

So what he was good last year, totally irrelevant.

lol

If we go up we'll need basically a whole new squad, so that is irrelevant.

How is his performance from last season irrelevant? At 33 he's unlikely to have dropped off a cliff physically since then. It shows what he's capable of.

I'd suggest a 33 year old thats not played a full game for an entire season has a chance of dropping off a cliff physically

Maybe

But if he hasn't then we've got a solid championship player on the cheap.

I agree some things about the deal are a bit odd, like why it took him so long to sign, but I can see reasons why we did sign him.

And if it turns out like the Maguire signing (in terms of the team's performance) I wouldn't be unhappy with that!

Seen something from twitter (yes, I know) that there's no serious damage to Rudoni. If that's true the squads in serious shape going into the run in
