Presuming we don’t get another midfielder in, should he start playing much deeper (especially when Sheaf is injured). Seems our best on the ball and can connect defence with attack. I thought him as a more attacking player originally, but needs must if we can’t get someone else in.

Agree. He has the energy to still get box to box as does Eccles. Torp doesn't and is the weakest ball winner out of the three.

He needs to be deeper, we need to play the 433 like we did all pre season as thats how the tactics properly worked, and the same if Robins wants to play 4231 we need Palmer in that 10

He was superb in the first half against Oxford in the 10.

He looked off it to me yesterday as did most so it's not just Torp IMO thats 3players from midfield areas gone missing from my point of view!
