Is it the same injury Bellingham had? He needed surgery for months but delayed it. Going to need a AM in Jan now even if Rudi can play through the pain the risk is too much not to get in a back up

Yeah, he was out for about 3 months but that was after having surgery with one of the best surgeons in the world.

This shoulder injury needs operating on.

Can’t be comfortable to play with.

The time frame on the original injury was mental if dislocated.

he would have needed surgery ultimately if dislocated. Otherwise the issue you get is the joint is unstable and you get the repeated popping as not secure.

now I’ve not seen anything today, and let’s not spread rubbish like torp’s ACL . He did walk off down tunnel after speaking with Lampard, which did make me raise an eyebrow. Lampard also said nothing on post match, just that it was great to get 79 minutes into him. Surely if issue would have mentioned, even if we are like North Korea these days.

let’s wait and see rather than ridiculous “ITK” shit.

Nothing in franks interview when asked about Rudoni. Franks happy he got 79 mins.

Think that would have been the plan.

Haven't posted anything anywhere - just joining now.
There was an incident in the second half - he went body to body with a few Charlton players.
He then seemed to hold his shoulder - dropping it and almost squeezing it as if it may have popped out again - had a quiet spell for a few mins where he withdrew himself a bit (after seeing what he did with his shoulder - kept my eyes on him) stood hands on knees occasionally during this little spell.
He carried on for a bit....seemed ok...(remember Oxford - he actually did the same) then went off...had a discussion with Frank, after which he went down the tunnel.

My observations - which did concern me.

Whats this bollocks im seeing about his shoulder again?

From what i can see its some ronseal coloured pisshead on Twitter saying he went down the tunnel after full time with the physio supporting it??

Surely if so A, We would have noticed it during the game and he'd have been hooked earlier, and B, he would have gone straight down the tunnel when subbed no? Im pretty sure he just sat down on the bench as per normal

Did anyone see anything?

Yeah didn't have any problems applauding the crowd when he came off.

That looked like he had taken a knock on it, it will hurt him most games until he gets it properly fixed.

You'd expect him to go and get it looked at after most games, get a get of physio etc on it.

We'll see, there is a good chance we'll just have to manage him even if there is no serious injury again.

It did look like he had to "adjust" back into place at one point.
Obviously I hope I am wrong - but it concerned me seeing this at the time.

If/when we secure promotion Doug should get him booked in with the same guy.

Maybe get a quality loan in at AM should be able to guarantee some game time even if Rudi isn't fully out.

mzybe, but hopefully if it has pop out you'd think he'd be straight off knowing what his injury is.

we'll see, maybe he's sub for a while which we can manage him better doing

Injuries really could be the thing to yet throw us off course. I reckon our ‘wobble’ will come this month with squad depth and the fixtures we have. Hopefully we can shore up with a couple purchases in January

Could be going to Ipswich with no BTA, Sakamoto, Wright and now maybe Rudoni. Will get called names saying I'd settle for a draw, but 100% would. Could be a tough month, but this team keeps surprising us so who knows.

It's possible but equally likely it was just a bit sore and he was just rolling it a bit to get some relief. I dislocated my knee as a kid 30+ years ago and it still niggles me some days.

Shoulder is least of our worries. The scout two seats along from me (watching Rudi, Conor Coventry and Rushworth) was writing a lot of very positive things about him. Interestingly Rushworth less so!

100% kept holding it in the second half. My mate pointed it out to me, he seemed to be fine on the ball and then off the ball he kept trying to move it and was holding it funny.

I’ve never got carried away with this idea that we’re set on promotion. Plenty can go wrong and this month looks ripe for it.

If he’s been out for this long with a different injury why didn’t we get it done at the same time.

Hindsight now but yeah missed opportunity

Nah weirdly it was about his ability to deal with balls into the box under pressure.

Well, if he’s got tissue damage from the original injury, it won’t be a lengthy recovery.

Talking to GIMOC and he reckons it's complete amputation with a new bionic arm as a replacement. Timescale GIMOC reckons is about 48-72 hours so nothing to worry about
