He was probably complaining about a foul - the fact is I always try and look at it as if the opposition were given these how would fit feel. I’d have not been happy the goal wasn’t given and furious if any of those penalties were

Can see in the images he's definitely signalling hand ball.

No he wasn't, he was holding his arm up and pointing to it.

But a ref isn’t really going to give a crap about that is he. Kelly is the biggest diver at the club he’s hardly going to be taken seriously

It looks like he did but then on his way down it was knocked out of his hands.

Being stronger with it, yes.
Gone mental appealing for handball with kelly, yes.

So the ref isn't going to give a crap that somebody appeals handball when it was handball and he missed it?

So what? oh ok Liam no one has seen that in the whole ground but I will change my mind based off your objective view

At the time, I thought it was a case of Marosi being caught in two minds, as he didn't seem keen on catching the ball at all (possibly due to the conditions), but then with the position and speed of the ball he almost thought he HAD to catch it, and that led to the error. Looking at Nick's replay though, and there seems to be definite contact.

Hopefully we'll get a similar one go our way before the end of the season

To be fair, hard to catch a ball when someone else is making contact with it and changing the trajectory.

Dabo frantically appealed for a throw in when he kicked it out so no.

Not saying he'd change his mind. They never do (which, to be fair, they shouldn't unless another official tells them otherwise). Just shows it was there to see. Ref missed it, nothing we can do about it.

He was right though? It was handball.

The lino should have spotted it, as should the ref.

Can't be changed now, was just pointing out what happened.

It really isn’t - the corner was created wasn’t it as he punched a ball out rather than catch it? I’m afraid we look like moaners really I’d be unhappy if we’d have had that goal ruled out

This is the sort of stuff VAR is good for.

Yeah, he should have done better with the original shot. Was a foul for the goal though. I'd moan about it against us but it would have been a correct decision.

Players perhaps shouldn’t constantly bleat and complain about obvious decisions and only if there is a clear misjustice - they reap what sow - in real time there is no reason to not allow it

The ref didn't seem to actually give the goal and put his arm up like they usually do, either.

He seemed very indecisive all night, there were several times when i was expecting him to blow and watched him as he went to put his whistle to his mouth and then changed his mind and didn't.

Marosis mistake elbow or no elbow fir me. Goalkeeper needs to be able to deal with a little physical contact

One off. Shit happens. We move on.

The most telling thing for me was that Marosi did not appeal.

Did anyone else find it a bit ridiculous how the Rotherham fans kept singing about being top of the league? Both for the fact they are only top on goal difference and we have a game in hand and the fact their accents came out when singing “leeeeague”.

Most telling thing for me is the guy that knocked it out of his hand celebrates as if he’s scored the goal as he runs off. Lino could have given it

Wasn't it you that labelled a post "Moronic comment" yesterday? How ironic.

Either way he’s been quality this season and still made a great save or two last night (as he does most games) to keep us in it

ref was shocking all night, allowed they to use their obvious physical advantages.

That Marosi didn't complain, no didn't any our players other than kelly (as usual, fair play etc) and Robins didn't say anything (in fact recognised it as a mistake) suggests to me that Marosi didn't have a clean catch and two hands on the ball when challenged.

A different subject. On the youtube highlights there is a player in the shot when Godden scores that nonchalantly pulls his socks up (Literally not Metaphorically) with no sign of celebration or excitement. Is this a worry? Is it McCallum losing interest?

No, just pulling his socks up tbh.

Dabo says they are all friends and the team spirit is great
