Rotherham United: How the Millers’ bid for Jordan Willis turned sour

Interesting. He says the fee was agreed, a club record one, but we pulled out last minute because we didn't want to sell him in the end. Could be total nonsense though and the manager is just making excuses for his failure to sign Willis

Their club record transfer fee is reputed to be over £400k. Seems like we turned down a reasonable offer.

That's where MV is then , she sacked him because he told her to hold on to him

Imagine being a Rotherham fan thinking that their record signing could've been Jordan Willis!

Don't get me wrong-I think that Jordan is a good defender but still not the finished article and learning his trade.

Surely there must have been other players that could have sorted their defence with a little more experience that Rotherham could have bought?

Something doesn't sit right does it. We would accepted a bag of balls for Willis or any player. I can't see us turning down that kind of money and wasn't it reported we accepted their final offer? Sounds like the fact they will be relegated and not worth the move up north.

Matches up with my made up theory that we had a striker lined up for cash and when that fell through didn't need to sell Willis.

Or something about the illuminati, could be either.

At the 11th hour the WiFi started working at their offices again and they had a look at the highlights of our season on Youtube
