Just been told by a Scots friend of mine we're due to have a friendly away at Ross County in mid-July (up near Inverness). Any hardcore fancy a trip up? Not announced on our website but on their offal: http://www.rosscountyfootballclub.co.uk/home.aspx

Doubt I'll get the time off! Such a random fixture when the rest of our pre season's spent here.

As delighted as I am for you about this freakish coincidence, I am still not celebrating with you in your chosen manner

Family over football? You disappoint us all on this forum. Although the weather will be better there so I can't blame you

I thought we were skint. We are now going abroad for a friendly.

No chance of me getting the time off for that and affording it

Didn't someone post on here that they play at Inverness's ground (might be on here and I'm being completely blind) yet now we're going to be playing.......Inverness aswell. Now either we're going to visit the same ground in quick succession, or the CET are reading too much into and getting confused.

They play in Dingwall which is up near Inverness-though the ground down for the friendly is in Inverness.

I have family up there, they are all Cov fans but have season tickets at Ross County so they are buzzing about this game. The game will be played at Clachnacuddin's Grant st Park in Inverness as Ross County's ground is being redeveloped at the moment.

Wow! Are City playing a team from another country's premier division? Who said everything is going downhill? Who's top in the Welsh league, Northern Ireland, the Republic or the Isle of Man? Sorry haven't had my medication yet.

So far I've not met a single Inverness fan up here since I moved, all the lads at my work seem to be Rangers fans, doesn't suggest a large attendance. The stadium is literally on the shore of the forth and is totally open to the elements and it's been pissing it down for about 6 hours now, the summer monsoon has started I've been informed. On the plus side, there are some decent pubs!
