I know the argument for "you pay your money, you are entitled to voice your opinion" but seriously the guy behind me last night.

Dunno if he had an argument with her in doors before he arrived but from the very first whistle to the last he moaned & abused the players throughout, to the point my kids were even looking at me rolling their eyes...

Yes it was a scrappy game - all the more reason to get behind the team... yes vincelot isnt a defender & is prone to mistakes at the back - do you think he WANTS to play there ?? he is doing it because we are short on numbers atthe back, and he and needs our support not a barage of abuse ... yes we know ricketts isnt a winger - im pretty sure he does too, but he was trying to do a job for the team & doing what his manager asked of him, so shouting "you'll never make a winger you muppet" at him really isnt helping him, the team or anyone around you enjoy to the match.

I thought Cole had another decent game, yeah he lost the ball a couple of times ( thats footy ) but his ball distribution and movement off the ball was class, yet nearly everytime he got the ball i heard "get him off mowbray"

telling RCC to "kick it, if you can you muppet" every time he gets the ball isnt helping either... its clear he has been told to play the ball out from the back . If you knew a 100th as much about football as you think you do then you'd know all of the above!!

Getting behind the team on a sunny saturday afternoon when we are 4-0 up & playing like barcelona is the easy bit... getting behind them on a cold tuesday night, with a shitty ref is the hard bit, not the time for you to fling needless abuse at OUR players.

Anyway, the one upside of sitting where i did... as Andy Rose came on he shouted "Rose, what the bloody hell is he going to do Mowbray" ( again thats nice for the lad to hear before he has even kicked a ball ) , and we all know the answer to that was, one of the best finishes you will see at a football ground this season

People moaning "GET IT FORWARD" when we are knocking it around 1-0 up with 5 minutes left & not a Bradford player insight....
How many times the ball is hoofed forward & we lose it & invite the pressure on ourselves, good one!

It drives me insane, if we have possession the likelyhood of them scoring is pretty slim IMO not sure why lumping it back to them is the best option in some people's view, 3/4 times last night we kept possession for 45 seconds without giving them a sniff!

Yeah there was one that went on ages, cheering every pass.

I can understand if one nil down.

There was a guy moaning about us taking it into the corner saying get it in the box. Not a player in the box.

Our centre backs are not ball players and at times are more of a danger than the opposition and I think they take too many unnecessary risks, how many times did Stephens get the ball caught in his feet.

I can't see why they played Vincelot at the back why not play Ricketts in the back three where he is far more suited and maybe play one of the Kelly Evans boys are they not wing back types.

There player was a total idiot getting sent off for that.

But a good win be happy today.

he also thought that was winston reid playing for them, and everytime he was on the ball he would shout wiiinnsttooonnn in a west indian accent
it was bonecrushingly embarrassing for his mates that just looked at each other, and at me when i kept turning round with a puzzled look on my face

yes - the only criticism was the over playing around at the back - which a couple of times, they got pushed by bradford into a mistake, and should have led to an equiliser. pass around when there is no pressure, but when it comes, it needs to be played forward (and sometimes lumped forward if there is no other option)

Perhaps not the best example given that after that spell of 'ole' football we conceded possession in a very dangerous position and could quite easily have conceded. Of course we should try to keep the ball and not lump it forward, but we do have a tendency to sit on leads and almost give up on the idea of trying to kill the game off. Last few minutes is fine, but we start running the ball into the corners with 10 minutes to go. Lots of points have been dropped this season when we have been farting around with it in our half (Doncaster at home a good example). Need to play sensibly in these situations, but sometimes the crowd get nervous and call for the ball to be played forward when it isn't the best option (but sometimes it is).

How we've seen out the last 2 games has been very impressive if only we had adapted the same mentality v Swindon away, Doncaster & Oldham home we'd be in the playoff places.

Last night especially good to see a bit of 'game management' from us time wasting etc even Saturday we were rushing about!

(Just somebody needs to let the ballboys & girls know to chill out)

I had no problem with us having the ball in the corner for a couple of free kicks and throw ins etc. And I didn't mind the passing around the back line when under no pressure. BUT we did give the ball away on more than a few occasions when messing about in our own third. We were lucky not to concede on at least 2 of these occasions.
My main issue last night was our general laboured approach play allowing Bradford to reset their defensive lines. We allowed it to be too easy. The few times we attacked with speed and purpose we looked dangerous and stretched them

The bit where they had a free kick, and their player was shouting at the ball boy to get it. He should have just left it as it was still on the pitch.

Our ball boys do need some training on when to rush and when to take their time.

The get it forward ones annoy me. There's so many off them. Don't seem to have a basic understanding of the game. Its not a school playground kick around!

Totally agree with this they rush far to much when we are trying to slow the game down

Think Rose is a very good player just needs more games to really show his class. His all round ability is bubbling under the surface. he's a thinker, can see a splitting pass, has heading ability and is over 6 feet, gets up and down the pitch with energy and reads the game well.

As for City. The last two wins have papered over the cracks just a little. Arma still can't get into scoring positions and we pass around at the back so much we put ourselves under enormous pressure and why? Seems the movement is sometimes just not there and wayward passes keep breaking us down. We definitely need more physical presence and the youthful exciting element. Someone like Agbonlahour would be a great target but probably out of our reach even allowing for his problems. Lambert has been mentioned on here and that would be good physical presence but at 34 is he any better than say Tudgay? Whatever we do we need some physicality in the mix if we are to strong arm some teams next season along with the pretty football.
