Came across this on twitter. Not a pretty sight.

Rose with no back up at RCB could be season defining.

Judging individual players by team win percentage is possibly one of the dumbest things fans do.

If you want to know the end goal of that thinking, look at Philosoraptors graphs which basically do that and have ridiculous stuff like Dacosta as our best player or whatever.

I used to have a pair of purple pants (I had many other colours, but only one pair of purple ones)
I remember that I never ever saw city win a single game while I wore those purple pants, so I can only deduce that those pants cost us loads of points over the years, and that must be far more relevant than which bloody defensive duo we stick with!

Rose just doesn’t look good enough to be honest

He does for the majority of the time... it's just the one or two total brainfarts per game that are the issue.

Moore and Wilson seem to suffer the same issue!

I think Rose just seems to take an age to get into the swing of things and then inevitably gets an injury or something by the time he gets going.

If the plan is for him to take over from Hyam then I think we're just going to have to accept a few mistakes from him and persevere until he gets into the swing.

He’s played a lot less Championship footy than Hyam since we came up, Hyam just under 8k minutes, Rose 3.6k.

He’s basically where Hyam was at the end of our first season. Which wasn’t all that great.

Some posters seem to be born naturals at how to destroy a players moral. Glad they aren't in the camp!

They must be a joy to work with being real mood hoovers.

I actually think Rose has more potential than Hyam despite clearly being less solid at present. I liked Hyam but Rose is certainly better on the ball (minus mistakes), more mobile and more of a threat in the oppo box.

As others have said with more game time at this level he could easily step up. Would also give more balance in a back 3 than Hyam as he has more similar attributes to Panzo and Doyle on the left IMO.

Couple years ago I’d have agreed with you but he just hasn’t had the game time.

Big big season for him to prove it.

Rose is actually slightly older than hyam and despite having better physical attributes than him he has never surpassed hyam.

Supposedly Rose is one of the quickest players at the club. Has to be an asset if he can get consistency through regular game time.

Rose is a decent player blighted last season with succession of niggly injuries. Think he’ll be okay this season.

Well now it’s time for Rose to stand up and be counted-now is his chance with Hyam out of the equation.

The moment of truth for rose I think, remember when robins said he was the best defender at the club,a long time ago that.

Never rated Rose way way too many cock ups in him, his pass straight to the opposition which led to their second goal was shocking but there again everyone was at it giving the ball away even Rodris done it a couple of times for Man City

The main issue in the second goal was less him giving it away but more his failure to recognise the runner.
