Ain't a bad life being a footballer, fed, paid well, short hours.

Thought it was a bit of an odd video. Didn’t think the first teamers really appreciated being filmed eating and it went on too long.
Austin ( assume it was him) just pointed to the buffet and then fucked off “ you can always call me”
The poor lad looked bewildered. Would have thought Frank would have been there too as a welcome too

If you stuck David Brent in there it would have been very Office.

Esse: What’s all this?

Austin: Oh it’s some lemon drizzle cake for Ephron’s birthday, want a slice?

Esse: Where’d you buy that?

Austin: Made it myself.

Esse: Ohhhh, it’s a bit rich ain’t it?

Rudoni: His chocolate fudge cake’s even better mate.

Esse: I prefer a flan.

Everywhere I've worked has delivered a shitty staff induction, I guess it's no different for footballers!

That first two minutes of them figuring out the hot plate buffet and deciding where to sit was incredibly tense, one of the most oddly intense viewing experiences I’ve had in ages.

Esse looked genuinely confused why someone was filming him choose his jacket spud topping.

Filming Yang actually eating was a bit rude. He's a 19 year old kid; he's probably self-conscious enough as it is.

Yes, I thought it was a bit cringeworthy and poor.

they are just kids, give them some time to settle in.

NO! Next time I want to see them waking up, shitting in an incredibly athletic manner and then putting on a horrifically overpriced pair of pants before getting my close up of them eating scrambled egg.

I PAY THEIR WAGES....

I'll join the pile on too. Weird video. Didn't need to see them eating in a soulless canteen. Show us them doing drills on the training ground sure.

But also focus on the squad training with a bit more on the two new lads. Don't just show the new lads sitting on their own on their phone because they dont know anyone yet

Yang is obviously South Korean, so, socially he will be somewhat more introverted. Until the formality wears off a bit.

I had a Korean friend years ago, and he was very formal and polite in social situations.

The culture is very related to an age based hierarchy as well and I think he’s the youngest in the squad.

YMH looked shy and lost and the other players didn't seem to be very welcoming. I felt rather sorry for him.

I hope the reality was rather better than how it was portrayed in the video.
