I watched them tonight. They were beaten 4-1 by a very clinical Stoke team (2 of the goals were crackers), but they are 5th in the league after promotion from League 2, have players with pace, and have 3 players who have scored at least 11 goals this season.

I look at them, then look at us. I don't know if I should laugh or cry. Rochdale look good for a shot at the play-offs, while we're in yet another relegation battle. They'll probably whack us at CV6 at the end of the month too.

God I'm depressed. Its Depression Without End with this club, especially in The SISU Era. I need someone to tell me that things will get better (within my lifetime).

I'm 18 and I'm pretty much convinced these days that I'll never see us play in the Prem. 02/03 was my first game.

We will be back. What we don't know is how long it will take. I suppose Southampton fans were wondering the same thing a few years ago. Now look at them.

Yep, they didn't pay a penny for any of their players.

Beat me to it Scottie. Crowds of around 3000 yet they have a manager who can spot good players and get the best out of average ones. Envious of Rochdale.... that's how far we've slumped.

If we are promoted to the Championship surely it would make a return to the Premiership more likely?

I do feel genuinely sorry for supporters of your generation. You have only known shit. At least us older fans have the memories of some great times to hold onto during this shit. I don't know how you've stuck it out!

Or you could say that seeing the good times makes this farce even harder to stomach.
