Quick one.

With the U21's playing today and talk that Mowbray would be fielding a fairly youthful side tomorrow, what do we feel the squad will look like now?

Burge
phillips-ricketts-Martin-stokes
----Morris--fleck----vincelot
-------Thomas---madders
---------------tudgay

just a guess really though. Doubt Haynes will come in as he is playing for under 21's. But with both Thomas and Morris being rested I expect them to start. Think reda will be saved for the league. And tudgay might be given a game ahead of Ruben.

Charles-Cook not playing for the Under-21's makes me think he might get the nod ahead of Burge in goal.

Charles-Cook
Phillips - Ricketts - Martin - Stokes
Morris - Thomas
Lamerias - Tudgay - ?
G. Thomas

Feel we might rest Madders and Fleck!

Be good to see Byrn start and Aaron. Think G. Thomas could shine too.

Haynes went off at half time for the under 21s today so we may see him involved.

i appreciate the resting of players but its also important to get a nice settled match fit match ready team at this early stage. so i would keep as close to the starting eleven as we had on saturday.

Two or three changes though can create competition for places and keep an inclusive feel. It is important to develop the group at this early stage in the season.

i agree especially with bigger squads. ours is very small so a couple of changes to cover armstrong and willis would be ok for me

Better in terms of chances of winning, but not for gaining revenue streams.

revenue would be the same given a successful run in either cup, prize money would be different though

Not really, there's a good chance of getting a big club and sharing revenues from a 30-40k+ gate in the league or FA cup vs sharing 4-5k gate in the JPT....

I imagine we earned more from the away tie at the Emirates than the whole JPT cup run to the area finals.

Rest Reda and anyone else with a knock. Otherwise full steam ahead for a decent draw in a future round.

No it's the same in the league cup, next couple of rounds If we got say Man city it will probably bring in another player. Whereas the jpt we could get a team like Exeter.
i'd love to win the JPT but in terms of which is more important it has to be league cup for th extra revenue streams.
