Has anyone’s opinion changed on him recently. What percentage of the board is Robins out?

Honestly don’t know what you are on about. On Wednesday in the ground I heard people questioning Robins, and on here people have mentioned it in passing.

Don't know where you sit , haven't heard a single person suggest Robins should go in block 16 by me, in the concourse or out for a ciggy or at away games ... the only place I only ever see it is on here .

The country would laugh at us if we sacked him now

Robins is going nowhere - he worships at the Sisu temple and has many loyal disciples. Crowd hostility will increase if we keep losing that goes with the territory but he will stay on message and enough will continue to get the Sisu Mat out

He also stays because of his achievements and continued achievements.. which are by anybody else's standards .. very good

With or without sisu he's not getting sacked for losing 4 games in the last 12

There is zero point in discussing it. It’s time for Sisu to go and there’s the conundrum as new owners would get rid of him. Which would alienate the loyal crew.

If we don’t recruit in January and he defends that strategy then it’s not a great future

Questioning his decisions etc is completely different from saying "OMG sack him now".

Exactly , doesn't every manager get questioned ?
Entirely different to " should we sack one of the clubs most successful managers , because we've lost 4 in 12 and sit 3 points from the playoffs "

Same people year on year , it is though isn't it

I'm confident we will see at least one new face this January, irrespective of comments coming out of the club about lack of finances. The question is then, will it make a difference.

Unless Robins feels of course he's taken us as far as he can under our current owners. Which he probably has. He may fancy a change, I still think we may yet see Robins at The Robins (Bristol City).

And there lies the real danger and I’m glad I’m not the only one who realises that it may come to the point that under the current regime, Robins realises that he can take us no further.
From my perspective I would like to see him here at least another 2 years.

He has failed at other championship clubs, he’s well paid here and very comfortable - he also will not I think move from where he lives unless he has to - realistically this is his biggest job he can get. The only clubs I think he’d look at are the Sheffield clubs and Derby

It’s a valid point-he hasn’t delivered elsewhere in the Championship. Sometimes people/managers/players etc are a good fit and this is the case here with Robins.
A case of “the grass isn’t always greener” and “once bitten twice shy” may also apply regarding longevity.

As it's 100% Robins in can we now agree that criticism of poor decisions and tactics isn't wanting the man sacked and address the points instead of resorting to hyperbole?

Without pots of money, why would you? The players are fairly united and its not only him, but the backroom team too. Not a chance he'll be sacked, if anything I'd still be more concerned he'll be poached.

If he was any good he wouldn't have taken charge of a league 1 club destined for relegation.

Unconfirmed but when Joy got hom back, I understood his contract to include a share of ownership so if we were successful so was he. Only small% but would make sense on the longevity and the relationships.

Could all be complete bollocks of course!

So he’s part of the Sisu temple. Makes sense.

though I’m not entirely sure he was first choice

Bloody hell we had a poor night Tuesday beaten by a team no better than us had we crapped a win we would be sitting somewhere near the top six now I have looked at our results in our league one promotion season and December & January were nothing to shout about 3 draws and a defeat, I think team needs a re-jig let’s see what happens the second half of what has been let’s be honest an unexpected successful first half.

Robins has taken us to heady heights this season the wheels have started to work loose and we have a limited budget and small squad so yeah lets get some excitement and statt the merry-go-round again and keep getting new managers all the time

Shouldnt the question be how many people have changed their opinion on our owners from the last last post on here a few weeks ago.
If they dont back the manager and team in January should they go?

BTW I voted in.
