I was hired as a stripogram for your birthday at work, and somehow lumbered into driving bin wagons.

I’m gutted that Robins and Viveash seemingly can’t reconcile to get another good thing going.

As much as people go on about results if you read Kings interviews and listen to the forum it was the fall out, (which seems to have started with Viveash getting the hump with Robins and not vice versa), that ultimately lead to his dismissal.

That was what ended the era. Shame, but all good things come to an end.

Yeah I agree. I did put it in an awfully worded post earlier that things out of Robins’ control started the walls crumbling around his ears.

I think the team loved him as much as the fans, it just looked like for one reason or another that the flame had gone.

I think we’ll get our money back on Wright and if we’re very lucky MvE. Overall it’ll be a massive loss I reckon. Also the fact that it’s built a squad of absolute garbage players.

We'd make on both of those as we would on EMC, Thomas, Bassette and Dovin.

Lose on Kitching, Collins, BTA.

Undecided on Lati, Torp, Sakakoto and Rudi.

Not sure on Simms, only 23 still scored 20+ at the level and reports were £3m rising. Think we'd cover that.

My guesses on paid and valuation:

Wright £7m > £8m-£10m
MVE £2m > £4m-£5m
EMC £4.5m > £6m
Thomas £2m > £3m
Bassette £1.5m > £3m
Dovin £1.5m > £2m
Kitching £4.5m > £1m
Collins £0.5m > £0m
BTA £2.5m > £1m
Lati £1.5m > £1.5m
Torp £2m > £1m
Sakamoto £1.2m > £1.5m
Rudi £3.5m > £3m

Simms £3m > £3m

Out £37.2m in £38m

Profit £0.8m

Of course only guesses but doesn't look wasted imo.

I thought Robins was only going to get a team in League 1?

Lati was free with compo, which would have been like 500k.

We would never sell MVE, EMC, Thomas, Saka or Rudi for the fees listed.

yea

MVE 5m?
EMC 6?
Thomas 3?
Saka 1.5?
Rudi 3?

Those offers would get laughed out the door.

He looked jaded after the playoff final defeat to me and then the personal issues he had at the start of the season was probably the final straw.

Cant see anyone paying what we paid for any of those yet. Maybe EMC if he carries on with his form against non bottom four sides. I can’t see anyone giving us more than £2m for Dovin Thomas or Bassette but maybe.

Saka is almost 28, no way he goes for more.

Sakamoto was 1.6m wasn't he? Why would we sell him for less than that?

You think someone would pay more for him with a year on his contract at 28?

I think it's very unlikely he goes anywhere and a contract extension would probably suit both parties.

But yeah, if someone wanted him I could see him going for at least £2m.

Yeah, for example double that at least for an improving Rudi. 23 years old and 9 league goal involvements in an out of form side at the half way stage.

He's arguing I have it too high, you're saying double it. Basically I've put my estimates down and I think relatively conservative to say we wouldn't lose money, yet it seems universal our recruitment has been poor. I believe the odd tweak and it's decent. Time will tell I guess, but not a stick I'll beat Robins with, especially as he generated that money anyway.

Should be announced today, maybe Thursday if they want to wait until after their match

He will be in the stands for them though, it was done the other day

No.

I reckon, the way people talk, it was £45m on Kitching and the rest were free.

They seem to be fairly rudderless, wonder what his remit is?
Not the first club to struggle after a long reigning manager leaves.

Best of luck to him. Hope he makes a go of it. Will be interesting to see who is his with. Doubt it would be Adi. Maybe Chris Ramsey?

Assuming he makes it to the summer, he will be backed financially. I think the Stoke job is a decent one given the owners they have and if it goes wrong you get a nice pay off like all the others.

I hope 6 weeks has been a long enough break for him. He looked and sounded shattered towards the end.

hope he does a fab job, but not at our expense.

Think they've been through something like 8 managers in 11 years since Pullis left for the 2nd time.
If we ever go back to going through managers like confetti I think I'd jack, it's thoroughly depressing.
