Interesting how we would be eligible for compensation? If he got sacked then he’s not in contract.

Up to him of course, but I really don't want to see him at another Championship club and have to come up against him in the opposition dugout.

I’m guessing we’ve put him on gardening leave rather than sacked him.

Would Robins have to pay back his compensation for ending his contract?
Maybe Hull would cover this?

Very odd we’d get compensation. Unless he has been “sacked” bur as he still has nearly 3 years left on his contract, he is still under contract by the club. Very strange one though

I’m starting to think the Man United YouTuber might not know much after all.

I guess we've paid off his contract as a "loss of earnings" and if he gets a new job straight away, it's no longer loss of earnings.

So a masterclass by King knowing he gets the money back and pays for Frank’s Chelsea’s crew?

Not really. The settlement would have an agreed period before re-employment is allowed

Possibly because of a clause in his settlement package from Ccfc?.
Tbh I'm surprised to see him heading up the betting market,I felt he would be taking a well earned bit of time out.

Usually under employment law if you terminate someone and then pay them compensation, they can still move on to another employer, and the employee doesn’t have to pay back any of the compensation.

that’s true, but the new employer wouldn’t be paying the compensation, they would have to wait until the end of the settlement period date.

Honestly don’t think it will happen as I don’t know who he would bring in as backroom staff.

Unless Hull are willing to name him manager, leave him to his own devices and let him build something then it won't work

He isn't a 'head coach'

Hull owner is a bit nuts, managers don't last there very long - would Robins be interested in that?

Knowing our luck they will get Matt Bloomfield who goes on to take them up, becomes the most sought after coach in the country and ends up managing England

It was a great match here, he’s sensible enough to know that’s not the norm in football management

We play them in three weeks

It would be the last thing in the world Lampard needs a game against MR when he is already going to be working to gain the trust of a lot of the fanbase

To be honest for Mark, it’s key if he goes he needs a good number two. Wonder if Chris Ramsey might join him.

Head coach and manager are just job titles. They mean the same thing in effect.

If what King said is true about the relationship with AV and the coaching structure… Robins will probably look back and identify that was his undoing. The inexperienced/under qualified staff seemed to be the main issue that brought about his downfall.

In his next job, he’ll probably look for some top level coaches to work with him as he did with AV.
