had 2 or 3 opportunities to counter attack

brown has been ill, ran off the pitch to get to the toilet

connor ran himself into the ground
fresh legs to try and get a foot in the game
they were a good side
worked on set pieces a lot
need to keep doing it

We have had a losing mentality for many years at our club. He got us a promotion and is building a League One squad who need time to develop. Nature will make us back off when we are in total control after half time sometimes. We are a young team and will make decisions that are not the best but we will learn every game. Give them a break and realise that Robins is doing a great job.

i heard his interview and he spoke truth, said we should have had the game dead and buried the first half but struggled a lot second half and were a bit fortunate to come away with the win, I like that sort of honesty tells me he will look at problems, work on them and hopefully sort them out.

He did make changes to try to address it
First with Kelly to try to stiffen the midfield then once they'd pulled a goal back with Jones to take the game back to them. If Jones right foot shot goes in then it's back to a two goal lead
Fans only see their own team - Donny made two early changes which altered their shape which took us a while to respond to

The pleasing thing is we are able to bring on players of atleast equal ability, which means we can change our formation or strengthen it with fresh legs to suit, thought Kelly and Ogogo did that and made us defensively more resolute and Jones gave us fresh legs up front

Tuesday was against a very very poor Bradford side, we were in control throughout the match pretty much. But, gave away 2 needless goals. Today we played a very good side, they came at us and we struggled to get s grip in the game. 2 different sides today was understandable Tuesday not so - imo

Probably because Bradford are dog shit and Doncaster are a good team.

Tuesday was sloppy second half, yesterday we were over ran second half but we defender brilliantly for the most part.
