It shows he has faith in being able to do what he wants to do, good news and sounds very promising!

I noticed he also put the guarantee in there people wanted about season ticket money, get them ordered!

Doesn’t say how long it’s been extended for, has it been extended or is it just a (deserved) pay rise?

I think the deal he signed last year was only until the end of this season, so should be another year or two I’d imagine. Strange they’ve not disclosed the length.

At least we will get some compensation when he fucks off again. (It’s an offer I just couldn’t refuse)

You really begrudge the guy for taking a championship club and paying him more back up north nearer home? Sounds a no brained to me.

I think this is a great move and signals the intent of the club. We have to back robins and give him some money and the players. He can be trusted to spend it and do well.

Well done Robins.

His plan when he came in was successive promotions
He's achieved the first so was in a strong position
As are the club now
Momentum is a marvellous thing
Players will be keen to come in now
We need to go for the best players in L1 & 2 who are at clubs who are unlikely to be contenders. They will be the hungry types we need

He needs to be backed though. I’m not saying chuck silly money but he needs a decent budget. I have no clue what the budget will be but if we get the Maddison money put back in to the team then it’s almost like free money. Robins won’t spunk the dosh.

With more fans and more paying customers then promotion can be achieved this season imo. No stand out teams this year.

Robins needs to be backed , but by the fans more than anything .
Fans know that Sisu won’t back the club and all the money is generated through the club itself .
Fans want promotion , back him like they’ve never backed a manager before

Bought my first season ticket since 2009 today on the back of this news... hopefully more of us start crawling back now there is some optimism about the place again and the team gets some investment to help sustain a second promotion challenge. The wife isn't too pleased.

I suspect he wouldn’t have signed a new contract if some promises about budget hadn’t been made.
Exciting times!

Just imagine the season tickets sales if Bayliss and McNulty signed new 4 year contracts on top of this.
