When you have a group of individually talented players that all seem to have the same problem that points to something else being the issue

Sure , we lack leaders we lack experience and we lack a bit of oomph ..

Maybe we needed to recruit slightly better ?

You're gonna tell the scouts to look for "oomph"?

Don't think we lack experience tbh - Wilson, Bidwell, Sheaf, Wright, BTA all experienced players starting today.

Leadership, maybe, but again I would expect some of those listed to be providing it.

I could understand those concerns if we were playing well, just making errors at critical times - but we're not even playing well in the first place.

So does that mean for fans to stop posting about last season we need to win 8 games without losing because it's a tad fucking boring

Alan Browne was identified, deal was essentially done then we turned our noses up and ended up signing nobody. He must be thanking the heavens for dodging this bullet

With a heavy heart but I’m sorry but that’s enough.

Robins been brilliant for our rise through the lower leagues but this is a step too far from him now. It’s sad to seem him struggle like this with the so called most expensive squad ever.

He clearly can’t get this squad to get results. Tactically he’s all over the place and yes some players need to step up, but it’s up to the manager to motivate them. They’re not listening to him and that is a huge warning.

People don’t want to include last season but the reality is apart from that FA cup run the 2nd half of last season was average. Our play off season was built on 2 superstar players in Vik and Gus with the crux of an old school type of squad.

Our home form and CBS was meant to be our fortress. Now teams can come here for an easy 3 points.

Mark’s interview just now is repetition of other poor performances. He can’t say we’re a good team if we keep losing like this. He’s making bizarre team selections especially at the back. Kitching and Wilson for example shouldn’t be anywhere near the team. In the end he threw them all under the bus anyway.

Maybe these players aren’t as good as we thought they would be but they should be collectively doing better.

Buck stops with him, he’s too stubborn to change things with formation or go change it up positively. We are so predictable opposition mangers must be laughing. There’s a danger this turns into a horrendous season. We should be improving game on game, not getting worse.

Time for a change in my opinion and this isn’t for people to have a go at each other, but we won’t see the next step change on the pitch without a fresher, more tactically astute manager.

No way , the bloke has got us to the verge of something special , we will be ok , give him time ! Does make me laugh on here the bedwetters but majority of fans were there singing his name today and Tues night clearly got the backing of the true fans , I think people on here are very forgetful of where we were ! I for one will never call for his head as I remember St Andrews and Northampton !

We have next to no leaders in this team , we needed some more experience at the back in all honesty at the moment we have players bickering and nobody is reigning that shit in

Who we going to get as a new manager ? Frank lampard I heard someone say today , he’s got a great resume , if robins was sacked he would be highly sought after IMO , be careful what we wish for

Watching CCFC like this is about as fun as watching England’s Euros performances. Just we don’t get Bellingham or Kane to bail us out.

It’s alarmingly easy to beat this current Cov team, certainly the easiest it’s ever been under MR.

Would Kitching and Thomas be better alongside Fadz than Hyamand Rose, I'd say yes.

But they're not alongside Fadz and Hyam and Rose were.

This is repeated all over the pitch. Weak mentality.

Some on here are praising Wilson for making saves he’s only had to make because he’s arsed around at the back. I said at the time Dovin signed we were wasting resources spending millions on more goalkeepers-today is just more evidence of that.

Aaron Ramsdale is one of the best English goalkeepers around, having him didn’t prevent Bournemouth, Sheff Utd and this season Southampton from getting relegated. What’s in front matters far more.

Sadly there's an international break now because this place is going to be horrendous for the next 2 weeks .. I expect it will see Matt smith more than usual though signing off until after preston , unless robins gets sacked before then that Is

TBH, I feel pretty ‘flat’ after following home and away and seeing that things just haven’t clicked in the last16/17 games. Last season and the season before felt better than this season. Even early on.

So my take on this is that we continue to support Robins. And we should remind ourselves that it is only part way through our journey. Don’t boo the players, get behind the team during the game despite the disorganized performances.

I also think the squad is better than last season. If we keep the quality players we will of course be in a better position after a couple more transfer windows.

I agree on the flat feeling, something feels different about this poor start than our others. I remember coming away from Preston last season not feeling as bad as I do about the team now. Maybe just higher expectations, but maybe something more.

I think my worry is we may not get a couple of transfer windows. I expect Sheaf to leave this summer, and if we have an average/poor season I think the likes of Wright, MVE, Simms and probably others will be angling for a move too.

From Robins comments it also doesn't feel to me as if he knows what the problem is.

Getting behind the team is always the answer I guess, gets harder and harder to spend £££ every weekend on them though.
