All the very best to you. My surgery is very minor by comparison, replacement knee joint.

I’m still very dubious about jumping on the manager. Things are disappointing but not without hope. I want to see some of the players taking responsibility. Also the fuckwits who decided to change our backroom staff.
We are all fucked off with the result right now for sure but football is about fine margins and I still believe we are not a million miles away.

Take Villa as an example. Going down under Gerrard. Replaced by Emery. A far superior, tactically astute manager. Not comparing levels but you see where I’m coming from.

I really want robins to turn this around and the dream is that he gets us to the Prem but how will this change after the magic 10 games? Can’t see it. Doesn’t know best 11, formation or style leading to confusion and Jekyll and hide performances

what the fuck does “progressive modern approach” mean?

what was “progressive and modern” about Sheffield Wednesday? They were huge, athletic, great game management and well drilled, I saw nothing of fancy modern methods on show.

I saw lots of quick passing, a cohesive press, and off the ball movement that our players either weren’t clocking or were too slow to chase. It’s how we should be playing.

The more pertinent recent example is Forest 21/22. Poor football under Chris Hughton, sacked relatively early on and transformed afterwards.

Thanks very much , luckily the tumour hasn't spread so hopefully this will be the end of it. Just wondered what do they use a knee joint replacement ?

Bottom line is something has to change. If we carry on like this then it’s only heading one way

What is alarming is that currently MR doesn't appear to know how to address the problems. Additionally his post match comments appear to indicate that he doesn't know how to fix things. Players will take responsibility if they are naturally inclined or have been motivated to do so but ultimately it is under the remit of MR. Backroom staff I agree with totally.
We are fucking miles off however.

I went to see a surgeon in London this morning ( I'm having surgery in early Nov ) and he said no going out for 4-6 weeks after the surgery. So no more Cov games till around Xmas. I should thank that surgeon for saving me for having to watch the team putting in such poor performances & a manager who seems to have lost the plot

Has Robins' success been purely down to Vivash? Surely it can't be. Assuming not, then for me stick with him. I would be making changes elsewhere - who has been ultimately responsible for the background changes and recruitment? If Robins, then he is accountable but I suspect not.
If Robins left l would dread to think who would come in. The cost of paying off him and team would impact the possible signings that could be made in January.

The amount of ifs, buts and maybes Robins is afforded is genuinely driving me mental.

Saw off degenerated bone from tibia & femur , glue plastic covering to base of femur , tibia plastic covering secured by a metal Spike driven into tibia. Moving part ( new knee joint ) is essentially a metal hinge. Whole procedure takes an hour under epidural nowadays. Had an ACL replacement 20 years ago which i didn't get fixed straight away so the cartilage has earn away to nothing in the last couple of years .

A real shame there's no SAG type committee because Doug doesn't seem to be too clued up on football.

Not even Guardiola could get a tune out of this lot at the moment. Be careful what you wish for.

Blimey I felt a bit queasy reading that lol. That's a lot of surgery in an hour. Shows how much I know I thought epidural was used for pregnant women giving birth. Once again all the best.

It's the now and not the then. At some point a judgement call has to be made. Look at the results over the last 20 games. Doesn't read great

Robins isn’t the issue. It’s King. I’m certain, if left to Robins, we’d have signed a midfielder in the summer. We didn’t. We have no cover at right back, we have a lopsided squad.

It's regarded as routine nowadays! Same with you , all the very best . Hopefully we could meet up at a game in future and compare surgery scars !

Are we meant to be happy with a point outside the relegation zone and one good performance all season?

I've laid all the reasons to afford him the space required but he's been on stiff wicket since he allowed Ady's exit I'm afraid!

Robins has been imo probably our best manager and I think we would have headed into non league had he not come back.

He deserves a statue when it’s all said and done. But while he is in the job he needs to met the expectations of it. The good doesn’t cancel out the bad or vice versa.
