If this is true then I have lost all respect for the new players.Spoke to someone I know tonight. He is close friends with someone who plays for the U21s. He wouldn’t tell me which player for obvious reasons.
Basically he said Viveash was sacked as quite few senior players made official complaints in writing about Viveash’s training methods and the way he spoke to them in training. They found his style too archaic and not in line with the modern professional game. None of the complaints came from any of the old guard, I.e Allen, Kelly, Godden etc , but rather the recruits from last summer.
The players basically got their own way and this modernised coaching set up was devised from that point on.
Not saying I know for sure but I did see Doug offering people out with sky blue boxing gloves just outside corporate.Got any theories about who he might be on here?
