Just wondering of any other manager (post Jimmy Hill) that has had such an immediate impact to CCFC as Mark Robins, not just results, but his whole demeanour with respect to:

* Telling it as it is
* No bullshit cliche management speak
* Talks common sense
* Inspirational
* Imposition of much needed discipline
* Well timed substitutions

Thoughts

Did you not read the last point? It said "Well TIMED Substitutions, not a Sub on the 70th 80th and 89th minute.

For Christ same calm down people! Personally I don't think he "tells it as it is" kind if thing. Whenever I've seen him in interviews he looks bored and like he doesn't wanna be here!

Seems that tghe over-enthusiastic bug has hit again.

Cov beat York YEAH - hardly a giant killing!

First half York were better team!

When Cov can play well for full 90 mins THEN I might get excited.

Would have expected to beat the teams they have - even with the form under Shaw.

NOTHING has changed yet. Win the next 3, or at least play really well in next three then I might get excited.

I've seen Carlisle and Bournemouth games. Neither inspired me that cov have turned a corner. They still play as they did under Shaw - The difference - Robins is playing 4-4-2 more of the time!

THe diamond is well and truly dead.

under shaw we drew 0-0 with burton and lost to crew & shrewsbury, what makes you think he would have beat york, oldham and bournemouth all of a sudden?
