Hull City's promotion challenge has suffered a blow after Robert Koren was ruled out for around three weeks with a hamstring injury.
The midfielder was hurt during last week's match against Southampton and the Slovenian is unlikely to be available until mid-April.
He has scored 10 goals in 37 Championship appearances for the Tigers this season and Nick Barmby has challenged his squad to cope without Koren.
Barmby told the club's official website: "Obviously losing Robbie is a blow because he has been an influential player for us.
"But this is where your squad kicks in and it's an opportunity for somebody to come in and stake a claim for the position."
The Tigers will hope Koren is available to return by the 17th April encounter with Barnsley, although there are five matches before that date.

Great news, he has always seemed their best player when I have seen them play. Seems to usually knock 25 yarders in every other game for Hull.
We can definitely now get something at Hull on Saturday
