When we are in The Championship, with 18k+ crowds, in a Coventry ground, debt at 'only' 60m, and a 25+ man squad-- Sisu will be back level where they started.

My opinion of that man is somewhere between Craig Bellamy and Tim Fisher.

Good Finances and a Championship Club, step up in that respect, do you reckon Robins would have got the job at Huddersfield had not turned our fortunes around?

I don't blame anyone for wanting to better themselves, but his little "sky blue blood" speech a week before leaving was unforgivable. Gave the fans hope when he knew he was about to leave.

Loyalty of Bellamy with the honesty of Fisher.

I don't doubt that, but him saying about how much he loves it here just before leaving shows the sort of man he is.

A simple "its above my head" comment at the time would have sufficed.

Completely agree with that and I hate him for that with a passion, however I am glad he is gone, now we have a good manager, with players who are doing well for the club, players that were under Robins the whole time but he didn't utilise.

true but we don't know what went on behind closed doors with the sisu mafia, anywhere every cloud and all that, more than happy with SP.

Mark Robins said:
I spoke to the owner, I sought assurances and didn’t get any assurances from the owner of Coventry... I absolutely wish them all the best, they work their socks off and as I’ve said before that club needs support from Coventry City Council. That led to a decision to want to speak with Huddersfield and that’s how the decision has been arrived at... I won’t go into specific detail. There are well-documented things about what’s happening down at Coventry. It is a magnificent club. Potentially huge. But it needs support to build revenue streams and help from the council.

It's not just SP though, Robins wanted to bring players in that's why he left because SISU wouldn't give him the finances, yet under SP Callum Wilson, Conor Thomas, John Fleck and Jordan Clarke have all been overlooked, but were undoubtedly players wasting away under Robins.

I thank Mr Judas for two things:

Firstly bringing Leon to the club.

Secondly fucking off to Huddersfield.

Thirdly giving city fans something they can be united on - dislike of him.

Robins was certainly one of the better managers we've had since our relegation from the Premier League, but McGoldrick played a huge part in that. To be fair, it seems to have been a blessing in disguise, I much prefer the football we're playing now.

I know it's a fantasy but can you imagine having Callum or Leon up front with McGoldrick this season the way we are going forward in games..
