Anyone going ?
Thanks - on the wife's birthday too and she's always been a fan. I will be a dead man if I can't get tickets for this!
Just seen this tweet, next June they've got Bon Jovi & Manic St Preachers.
What an odd combination.
Would have thought most Manic fans wouldn't like Bon Jovi at all.
I'm not sure they'll tolerate this at all!
I can sing better than Jon Bon Jovi can these days. His voice is totally gone.
Unfortunately for me, Bon Jovi represent the kind of music I dislike the most.
Safe rock I call it. Sanitised, middle of the road blandness.
Just doesn't seem to be a fit at all for the Manics. I know they have mellowed over the years, but it just seems such an odd concoction.
What next, S Club 7 supporting Slipknot?
Think I will just see the Manics on their own tour or at any of the festivals
Seems the bookings made up there the last few years is hitting the Grey generation
Hope they've got good pensions or they won't be able to afford it.
Playing in Brum in May.
Manic Street Preachers from See Tickets
The manics lost any slight edge they had around 1998.
Oh, and would pay to see both at their peak, but they're both just feeble imitations of what they used to be.
Yeah, pretty much agree on that last point.
Don't think I bought another Manics album after Everything Must Go.
Big fan of the Manics, I guess they lost their way slightly, but were back on form with "Send The Tigers Away" .
Not a fan of Bon Jovi though, so will swerve this concert and look to see Manics separately.
It's the only sensible thinking conclusion to come to.
Separate names with a comma.
