Wasn’t Gurney the subject of “physical intimidation” by Gary Pendrey after criticising Strachan in the relegation season (or maybe before then)?

Adam Dent was lovely to me when I did work experience at the CET.

Gurney and Eakin are decent together when they're doing the cricket comms for Warwickshire. When it was Clive and Geoff, before Geoff got ill and wasn't really up to it, didn't they used to do a half each?

It took me a while to get used to Clive, but I think he does a good job. Who cares about the odd slip up. Good partnership with Oggy too, whom I always enjoy listening too.

Gurney was terrific in the old days, and it'd be great to have him back, imho - clearly we're strengthening the squad for the promotion push!
