Dongo, I never defended SISU, I defended my club and I apportioned some blame to ACL, which I still do. This mess is down to more than just Tim Fisher.

The only ray of light in the whole article. Regardless of whom we blame and what percentage we apportion that blame it is now clear that ACL need to do the running if we are to stay in the City. I hope they can pull it out of the bag. I even went to Leamington on Saturday just show my son the ground. I will end up there if we go to Sixfields.

oh god please NOOOOOO.. not this merry go round again! apportioning a fair share of blame at the door of the other parties here, does not mean a default support of SISU..
by the way .. a solid article , but a bloody depressing one!
its around this time of year that im normally getting excited about the forthcoming season.. going to friendly matches .. buying the kids the new strip .. and generally getting excited about checking the transfer rumor sites & the telegraph for new signings coming in. Its been like that for the last 30 years for me.. and the last 10 for my kids too. Even during the relegation times, and the change of managers, or the change of owners...
despite any of the above, things alwasy seem full of hope at the start of that new season.. a new season to have another go at winning something... with the new shirt on your back ... new players on the pitch... and the sun shining as we walk back into the Ricoh ( or highfield road ) after too long away! this season we have none of that, and with SISU and ACL still at the helm.. i honestly cant see a resolution or a way back to those times anytime soon.. god i hope im very very wrong

Thank you Torch for posting...one of the more factual articles that has been printed, certainly better than anything that has come from the CT.
You did defend them and had a go at anyone that said anything against them, only game in town? Some of us have wanted these crooks out for years and i found it incredibly frustrating when people like you used to defend them. However,that's all in the past,we all need to stick together now and pray that there's a ray of light at the end of this sorry episode. Sisu take are club to Northampton then its game over imo.

That's the issue I have with that: they're no where near equally culpable IMO. But agreed, a boring subject done so to death that it has now risen from the grave as a zombie concept.

Not criticising a really good article but why did the reporter who wrote the article get a taxi to the ground. It only takes 15 - 20 minutes to walk from the train station and for those of us who can't be bothered there's a bus every 5 minutes to within 5 minutes walk and that will only cost about £2.20
