Not content with closing the a444. They have closed a lane of cov road off and put some lights in.

Gridlock everywhere.

Police car crashing in to someone's car hasn't helped the situation!

Home games are bloody miserable at the moment. Shite football, shite results and it takes a year to get home. Bring back the international break.

Game finished an hour ago and we’re still sat stuck in a queue less than a mile away from the stadium

Who approves it all?

Roadworks at the blue ribbon roundabout.
Roadworks on cov road..
Roadworks in holbrooks.

Where do they expect traffic to go?

They’re all absolute morons. This is an absolute fucking joke. It shouldn’t take an hour and a half to get back to south Cov after the game.

I had to walk 20 minutes to my car. TBH, I could walk home in 50 minutes. Wouldn’t it be worth looking at Parking Apps?

It’s definitely bad timing. The roadworks were flagged up months ago.

We already paid for a season ticket at the car park we use. Might have to look into whether we can change it to somewhere else or request a refund. It’s ridiculous how long it’s taking to get home.

We don’t park in one of the official car parks. The roads in Holbrooks are awful.

There's roadworks everywhere as it is.

Then there's traffic that would be on the a444 going through Longford or exhall to get up to Holbrook's.

Both have roadworks.

I just assumed Car Park A was the worst because it’s right by the stadium.

Problem in Holbrooks is that the road closures have made it so there is only one way to go and everyone has to go that way. Like a big clogged up funnel.

It’s a shit show and the club/council really need to rethink the road closure given the road works on the blue ribbon.

Just to compound it three way traffic lights on Blackhorse Road too with no fucker working.

What time do they take the road blocks off. I’m starting to think I may as well sit on the drive for half an hour as it’s taken me hour and half to get to Rugby.

Yeah they were the ones. Absolutely mental and no reason for them to be there.

3.5 hours back to Kings Lynn today. What was regularly a 2 hour journey last season, sometimes under for night fixtures.

Genuinely puts me off going. If nothing changes, will consider having a ST next year.

Is there a set time they take the road block off? We were on the island on Judds Lane and everyone had gone by 5-15 but the road didn’t open until 5-30. Just a piss take

Is it worth mass complaining to the council and club as it’s a joke that the main road to the motorways is closed.

Apparently it’s down to pedestrian safety

absolute madness

Was definitely reopened a lot sooner yesterday. Left my seat at the final whistle and by the time I’d walked back to the car park they were opening up again.

Last few games I’ve not left as quickly and been sat in the car 15-30 minutes until the roads reopened

This . I might not bother getting a ST next season . It takes up too much time to travel and this just adds an hour onto my journey

Safety first. It was always going to happen with larger crowds.

You’ll save a fortune. Or park away from the stadium and walk 15-20 minutes? There are places where you can get away quicker if you fancy walking a bit.

It’s a disaster for me - used to come by bike - park easily and securely ( v important) get away quickly - not possible now
